No weather changes
Hold L + R + Up at the transmission selection screen in Arcade mode. You must hold these buttons until the game starts.

Rainy weather
Hold L + R + Down at the transmission selection screen in Arcade mode. You must hold these buttons until the game starts.

Super Speed mode
Complete Championship mode. The game will then remove the rendering of mirrors in cockpit view, and also remove 20 of the 25 cars, so that the frame rates jump up to 60fps!

Bonus camera angle
Complete Championship mode, finishing first in every race to unlock an overhead camera view similar to Micro Machines.

Disable opponent
Rear-end your opponent’s car in Championship mode. The wing will break and your competitor will be unable to reach maximum speed without first making a pit stop.

You should enable the “No Collision” option, to keep the damage to your car at a minimum when you do this maneuvre.

Drive as S. Hattori
Complete Championship mode to unlock the bonus Japanese driver.

Unlock pace cars
You can unlock a pace car for Arcade and High Speed mode if you complete Championship mode. You can do this up to 4 times to get the following pace cars:

Toyota Celica
BMW M3
Acura NSX
Toyota T100
