Extra attack damage
You can do a lot of extra damage by doing the following:

Time it so that as you character starts to back his weapon for an attack, you press and hold A. After the attack connects and does damage, release A and you perform a super attack.

Alternate costumes
At the character selection screen, press X.

Bypass dialogue
press B before any move is made during a battle.

Cheats

Once you beat Crypt Ruins, you have access to the Bandit's Hideout. On the 3rd floor, collect the Broken Telescope in the northeast room. Beat Carcano and return to the Blaze Ruins. Collect the Cloudy Lens at the exit of the 4th floor(Maybe you've collected it already). Take it to the Appraisal Clerk, Keeno, and ask him to have the items 'Assembled'. You'll get 4,000 dinale.

Tips

When your character pulls back a weapon when attacking, hold A. Release A after the attack does damage.
