Before the driver selection screen appears, hold R + Start. The message "No Arrows" should appear in the lower left corner to indicate that you've switched off the directional arrows.
Before the driver selection screen appears, hold L + Start. The message "No Destination Mark" should appear in the lower left corner to indicate that you've switched off the destination mark.
Expert mode basically switches off both direction indicators and the destination markers. Before the driver selection screen appears, hold L + R + Start. The word "Expert" will appear in the lower left corner to indicate that the two indicators are now disabled.
At the character selection screen, quickly press L, R, L, R, L, R or L + R, L + R, L + R. Then, select a character to drive a bike instead of a taxi. Alternatively, complete all sixteen Crazy Box levels to unlock the Special Taxi for each character, which is selectable in crazy box, arcade, or original modes. To select the bike in crazy box mode, scroll to the right of Gus at the character selection screen. To select the bike in arcade or original mode, press Up at the character selection screen.
At the character selection screen, press R, then hold R while choosing a driver. You should see the words "Another Day" appear. This new mode modifies the game slightly and changes fares and starting positions.
You need to have a controller in controller port 3 to get this going...begin a game in arcade or original mode and press B on controller 3 to switch the display to a first person perspective. Press Y on controller 3 to change to another camera angle. Press X five times on controller 3 to view a speedometer. And finally, press A on controller 3 to reset the display.
If you get an "S license" with all four characters in Arcade Mode, you will unlock the "Crazy Party" level in Crazy Box mode. You can also unlock other new levels if you complete all the standard (non-bonus) Crazy Box levels.
