THE GOOD: This game is perfection in every way possible! Great weapons, great game modes, great characters, great graphix, great levels, great controls. I like taunting, it makes me feel good, even though Im not actully talking. I also like that you can form a great big team and pull off a co-op bomb!SUMMARY: Well all and all this game is the greatest first person shooter-multi player game ever. You can blast them, hack them, nail them, destroy them, electricute them, burn them and beat them in a death battle of capture the flag. Or even in a to 50! There is a whole bunch of game modes i(the game junkie, i dont post a lot of responses on this site because im sitting on my ass playing games) haven't even mastered them all! This is to die for, but the bad part for short game lovers, its long. |

THE GOOD: + Wide character selection + Awesome Graphics + Sweet weapons + A way to turn off the gore to keep youger siblings sane! + Tutorial Mode + Mutators!THE BAD: - Small level selection - NO REDEEMER!!! - Double Domination is a bit too tough with computers - Screen seems a bit squished during M/P - AI is a tad dumb SUMMARY: First Person Shooters are pretty much my type of game. Of every shooter I have ever played Unreal Chamionship is second best (I still haven't seen a FPS good enough to beat Halo).
Where to start... weapons. How can you have a FPS without weapons? Well, there's no shortage of weapons here. Ranging from the shield cannon to a little targeting laser that isn't really so little, the weapons are unique and clever. Although some classics like the Rocket Launcher still live on. The biggest downfall in the weapons area: no Redeemer! Hardened Unreal Vets will know what I mean.
The Graphics are top-notch. No complaints here.
Sound: A lack of really good battle music makes this game a bit boring, but adequite voice acting adds on some fun. The weapons also sound pretty good.
Overall: I would have given this a 4.5, but the lack of Redeemer just was too much. the multiplayer is fast and furious, and with 6 modes of game play (i.e. Bombing Run, DeathMatch, and double domination) are enough to keep one busy, especially with the Mutators(again, Unreal Vets will know what i'm talking about). |

THE GOOD: The graphics, the guns, the Multiplayer, the variety of players, the maps....THE BAD: Not much, except it can be frustating that your teammates are so useless and that enemies are hard to see when shooting you. SUMMARY: The multiplayer has got to be the best, next to Halo of course. If you like dank, dark dungeons on other planets you'll love it. The variety of wepons alone can keep you occupied for days, then add to that each of the many characters has a special strength with a certain gun. The TAG rifle is the coolest, I think. |

THE GOOD: The Graphics and GameplayTHE BAD: Single Player Tournament. SUMMARY: I have beaten the game on all difficulty settings and it is the same ending every time. I remember hearing on my xbox magazine disc that you become an imperial bodyguard. Now I don't know if they changed that, but it sucks now. Each time I wind up in a cryo-tube watching a fight. All that was proven when I beat it on Godlike is that I am an awesome above average player and I am the champion. |

THE GOOD: The best Unreal on consoles, good graphics, excellent hype. Multi player fun! FUN FUN FUN FUN FUN FUNTHE BAD: I don't own a copy! ARGHHHH!!! I am now mad. There is one flaw though, you can only hook up 2 XBOXes, it should hook up 4 XBOXes like HALO did. But that's ok, I only have three friends with XBOX, no wait, that's a bad thing with Unreal. But besides that, It has no bad things to it. 1000% fun garaunteed. SUMMARY: This game looks very fun. I have the original Unreal Tournement on Dreamcast and it was fun as hell (well, not really as fun as HELL though, but you know what i mean). This one looks much better and the controller has more buttons on it than the Dreamcast controller. Happy,Happy, Joy, Joy! you can hook up to two xbox consoles for 8 players, although they should do 16 like HALO though |

THE GOOD: Stunning Graphics, XBOX Live Support, ReplayabilityTHE BAD: Small Arsenal, Too Easy, Not Exactly What Was Seen In Prewiews SUMMARY: Unreal Championship strikes another blow for XBOX! This sequel of the PC's Unreal Tournament is a great game for hours of multiplayer fun! The sharp detailed graphics show exactly what XBOX was built for. Extensive environments, a large selection of characters, and crisp weapons are a result of the magnificent creation that went into this game. Playing this game online just adds to the glory. There is nothing like meeting new Champions online and testing their skill against your own. There is just so much to do in this game. New game modes (Bombing Run, Survival), modified game modes (Team Deathmatch, Double Domination) and classic game modes (Deathmatch, Capture The Flag) give you hours and hours of fun, making you come back for more, although I admit I do miss Assault. I also have to add that I love the adrenaline idea to give you a slight advantage in some areas. Some problems with the game though. The arsenal, however powerful, is just a bit too small. By my count, there are only thirteen weapons. This may sound like a lot, but you have access to maybe only seven in each level, and it so easy to die that you will drop them almost right away anyway. The single player "campaign" is just too easy, even on the hardest difficulties. This ends it very quickly, which is sort of a disappointment. Luckily Instant Action keeps you busy for a while. If I am not mistaken, I do believe seeing vehicles in prewiews for this game. Could be just me... Overall, even with these flaws, I highly recommend buying this game. No need to rent it first! If you like a fast-paced action FPS, this is the game for you! |

THE GOOD: The online gameplay.THE BAD: The servers. SUMMARY: Unreal Championship is a fragfest, make no mistake. Any newbie can go online and shoot away, and score frags. Rocket launcher into a tight group? Multi-kill! The game balances well between the level of skill that you possess, and the type of character you choose. The control design is tight, and all movement within the arena's is fluid. Graphically, it seems we've reached the pinnacle of FPS's, until Doom III comes out. The solo play (offline) is limited, even though the variety of game modes will entertain for a short while...but the real fun (and nightmare) is in the online X-box Live servers. After playing extensively, it seems that MOST servers play fairly well on all levels, except for Gael, which can be an ultimate nightmare at times. Most times, players are all loaded as juggernauts, and the ability to jump is lost, as the server scrambles madly to keep up with the amount of action on the screen. It's simply too much for it to handle. Just before the last few frags are scored, the computer will *finally* catch-up, and display who's who, and show your HUD. This level is simply NOT effectively playable Online, save for a few instances. Most servers are fast, and don't disconnect you often, however there are a few that *regularly* disconnect people after a few short games. Overall, buy it for the Online experience....most levels are playable, most players are friendly, and it's good practice for Halo 2/Doom III. |

THE GOOD: graphics, gameplay....THE BAD: not half the game the PC version is. SUMMARY: i was disappointed with this game. i wish i hadn't played the PC version first, because then i might not have been so disgusted with the xbox port. this game is about as half-assed as you can get. playing a multiplayer game is basically a waste of time unless you're doing it on xbox live...and even then it sucks. multiplayer options are beyond scarce, so don't expect to be customizing things too much. also, there are about 1/4 as many levels available in UC as there are in the PC version, not to mention facing worlds, one of the most popular unreal levels, being left out. this game must have been rushed for the release of xbox live, because i can't imagine why else it would be so shallow. if you own or have played the PC version of this game, i would definitely not recommend UC for the xbox. |

THE GOOD: Amazing gameplay, terrain detail, and very challengingTHE BAD: This isn't what i was expecting....
SUMMARY: The game is so amazing and everything and im not saying dont get it, cos u should, but there is one thing. Before it came out i was scouting about on the internet looking for screenshots and previews, the game looked amazing so when it came out i went down to the shop straight away, i got home started playing but then realised there were no vehicles like it said there was going to be, they had been taken out due to gameplay, fair nuff. But then as i studied the game for longer I saw that the graphics were very detailed but no where near as good as the graphics from the screenshots on the internet! and the guns? where are those gun on the pictures? u cant get them. I was just wondering if anyone else found this. Im not putting the game down at all but I am complaining about the false information even from the vendors. |

THE GOOD: It's a classicTHE BAD: nothin SUMMARY: If you have played Unreal before you will love this. Different Characters are totaly awesome and the vintage Unreal Gameplay is there. Plus powerups and special moves can really give you the boost needed to go for the win.
New multiplayer aspects like bombing Run 2.0 are sweet and I can twait to play this game on XBOX Live.
More than two modes of fire for all the weapons offer enough variety to boot.
BUY THIS GAME.
See ya LIVE.
