Turok: Evolution

THE BAD:
Graphic flaws, poor gameplay

SUMMARY:
I was looking forward to this game, but what a load of crap. I expect better from the xbox, but i suppose this is what you get with a game put out over several formats.
The graphics are no better than ps1 (that's not degrading ps1). The game is to linear with the levels too small in an area with the rocks and grass keeping you in the small playing area. In this day and age pop up should be gone.
Some people will like this game, but they must be easily pleased.
Putting games like this on the xbox will not help in showing the quality of the console and winning new gamers over.

THE BAD:
extremely difficult (even with cheats). the flaying portions, though a nice thought, were not executed well (like an after thought). AI was not consistent.

SUMMARY:
bottom line: a nice FPS but only with the cheats in place.... and lets face it after youve used the rocket launcher to destroy nearly unstoppable foes for the 1000th time it does get kind of boring. had they perfected the flight portions or replaced them with more FPs levels, as well as toned down the difficulty, this would have been a real winner
