"Not that anyone will be remotely surprised by this assessment, but Codemasters has really pulled out all the stops to make TOCA Race Driver 3 about as good as it could possibly be on Xbox. Simply, it’s another excellent driving game that puts most of the competition to shame - not just because it's so utterly rammed with so much top-notch content, but that it does so to such a consistently high standard. With an excellent online mode to boot, it really does offer the lot; as far as serious driving games go, this is as good as it gets right now."
"We've been invited to check out Medal of Honor: Airborne time and time again. This latest visit, though, put us in touch with a brand new level that really showcased what separates the game from its competition. Based on an actual German construction, the Flaktürme, or Flak Tower - a massive gun-emplaced tower designed to defend against air strikes on key cities. Where does this leave you? "The Turtles are back, but Vanilla Ice isn't. That's probably for the best, to be honest. Anyway, to complement the new CGI-heavy Turtles film that's out this year, Ubisoft is resurrecting the pizza-eating dudes. Apparently the new film is a bit darker and edgier than previous Turtles fare (harking back to the original comics and role-playing game) and the game will reflect that. While we've yet to see just how "dark" and "edgy" this'll be, the way the game plays seems, so far, to be a little "
"TOCA 3 boasts an awesome variety of racing disciplines, and it backs that boast up with some really excellent driving mechanics."
"TOCA Race Driver 3 is a different tack for Codemasters, and for the most part it works. Not only is the game filled with cars to race, car disciplines to pick from, and an enormous amount of replay value to enjoy, it also manages to healthily balance noobs and hardcore gamers. The later stages of the game really put you to the test with extremely fast and powerful cars, each one demonstrating the full evolution of that particular discipline. TOCA 3 is both fun and frustrating, depending on which route you take, but no one can say that it's shallow or poorly programmed."
