SUMMARY:
KOTOR II is fun, not as fun as the first but still fun. you start out as the lone survivor on a planet and find 2 more party mebers, in your search for a way out, and CLOTHES. This is not a fun level, but once you get past it the game starts rolling, it gives you an incredibley deep sense that you are doing somehing, and that every action has an equal and oppsoite reaction.You get a lightsaber alot easier than in the first game, and it can be custimized. there are references to revan, and sadly Carth is in this game, which means it helps if you play the first game, to develop a true hate of Carth. Depending on wether your light, dark, male, or female. you get different party members, all of whom can be influenced to follow your...

THE GOOD:
battle system, story, characters, replayability, bla bla bla

THE BAD:
incomplete story, buggy as hell, graphical glitches.

SUMMARY:
It's a general rule in these circles that whenever a computer game is tied into anything other than another game then the results are generally sub standard. Sadly examples such as Goldeneye, The Chronicles Of Riddick, or Transformers are the exceptions to an otherwise unbreakable rule. Star Wars tie ins are different though. Games based on George Lucas popular film saga are, by and large, incredibly fun games. Personally I suspect that a large part of this is down to the fact that Star Wars is now much more than just a film, and games like Rogue Squadron, or the Jedi Knight series work in conjuncture with the comics, novels, action figures and art work to create a mythology so intricate that the universal struggle portrayed in the films plays a very small role in it's history.

I never played the original KOTOR and I have been told it tells a load of the story for this one, but I can't be assed to find out XD
This is simply a stunning game though, most games I get bored of at one point because of being challening, this one just made me want to beat it mostly so I could get the Jedi powers...

.:: Graphics ::.
The graphics are a little choppy at times and quite blockly to look at with the character design and some of the backgrounds are quite bare or if they contain more detail it becomes crowded and hard to see whats happening there...
The Speed boost makes the screen to blurred but it still looks good at showing the effects or most of the Jedi powers...
3.5

.:: Gameplay ::.
The story is good and has many different paths that you take meaning there is more replay value as there is three orignal paths...

THE GOOD:
New worlds, companion influence, what didn't change.

THE BAD:
Too easy, confusing at end, Blah story and characters.

SUMMARY:
It's a sad thing when a sequels best points are the ones that have carried over from the first, but with this game that is all that has kept it as high as it is.
I bought the game as soon as it came out and was severly dissapointed. For one thing, the story, which was one of KOTOR's Big sellers skipped a lot of beats. It is much less engaging that the first one and is also a lot more confusing. You don't really know why you're bothering trying to save the galaxy. The worst is the ending, which I won't devulge even though it's not that big of a deal. It really seems that Obsidian was either trying to be "creative" with the story, or they just rushed it in order to release it while the Xbox is still hot before Xbox Next comes out.
Next the Characters lack the emotional draw that they had in the first...

THE GOOD:
Graphics, Sound, all amazing.

THE BAD:
for peopel who do not like backtracking it might get a bit annoying.

SUMMARY:
The graphics in this game are some better then Halo 2, sounds are amazimg. I would have to say graphics are better since it doesn't have the graphic jumps form soem object here doesn't happens. If you are Star Wars fan you will love this game. Advance as a Jedy, 6 presige classes. New Force powers. New party memmbers. As you advance though the game you will having conversation wiht your party memmbers and gain influence or lose it, and depending on it... your party will hcange their alienment with you or against you. New Lightsaber colors!

The upsetting part of it, is that equipment is still very similar to the first instalment of this game. Some fights are too easy to fight, but some are very hard, no happy medium.

The graphics, although mostly the same, are improved. Although I think do the the more darker story, the graphics are just too dark. The first planet, it seemed almost too depressing. Also the weather effects where cool, although I never noticed it. On one planet, it sounds like it was raining and there was a storm above my head. But I never noticed any rain or anything. It was all the same, but with different ambient. And as I said before, the game was too dark, making it in a whole a rather depressing game on the inside.

Also, there where major framerate issues. Some times, by the end of a fight with only myself, two party members and one enemy. The framerate was horrible. For about seven seconds my character went from one frame to the other. It just quited on me almost. And then sometimes when you just walking, it'll slow down some.

Now, the story in this game was great. But, it had many holes in it. Somethings where skipped, that I thought should've been addressed...
