THE GOOD:
~The graphics
~The game play
~The team you have
~Command squad movements
~The weapons and gadgets

THE BAD:
~Replay value
~No split screen Multiplayer (MP)
~No co-op
~Mission objectives are repetitive

SUMMARY:
This game is part of a series called Rainbow 6. You are part of a team to neutralize all terrorist activity in the most professional way. The game brings you through many different locations, so that it doesn't have that same feel to it. Every thing in this game has been executioned well.

As you (Domingo/ Ding) you command a squad of three, four including your self. Your team members play a vital part in the game; as if they were not there you would find the game very difficult. Since you command your own team, Ubisoft thought it was essential that you could control their movements and tactics. This can be done by opening up a menu and commanding them to do a certain command, or you can buy a head set where you tell them what to do, (thing is it works well if you speak in a Swiss kind of accent). By having the ability to command what your team does, it dramatically helps you, and gets you thinking of all the strategies you can do to over come a certain situation.

The graphics have been done beautifully and there really seems like there is an atmosphere there, a dangerous atmosphere. This just adds to the game play, and makes it more enjoyable. Before you start a mission you can choose the weapon you want to accompany you during your mission. There are many to choose from, and some are quite powerful. Also you can have a second choice of weapon but it is just pistols and Uzi’s, which aren't that powerful at all. Though they come in handy as if you’re in the middle of combat and your main weapon runs out of ammo, you can quickly change to your pistol to finish of the remaining enemies. You can also choose your grenades that you want; there are flash bang, frag, smoke and much more. Also you can bring a long a gas mask, but that is only for certain situations.

The missions them selves are great at first, but when you start to play them all, you will find that they can be quite repetitive. For an example, in most of the missions you either have to defuse a heap of bombs because there is a group of terrorists threatening to destroy some important place unless some one gives into their ransom of quite a few million, but Intel comes in saying that they will blow up the place any way so you have to go in and neutralise them. Or you will have the levels where it's the same situation but they have hostages, and you need to save them. Also when your playing the missions, you will encounter some enemies/terrorists who will surrender, which is kind of neat, well you could do the noble thing of arresting them, or be a hard ass and kill them when they are unarmed, just because they are a terrorist.

The sound in the game is not the best, because when there is a cut scene you can hardly hear anything, so you will have to turn it up to max volume to hear it at a good level. The music is pretty good and because when you walk past a radio or restaurant you'll notice how the music will fade away when you walk away from it, or hear it getting louder if your coming towards it.

Ok, for the multiplayer, this was a bit of a let down for me because I do not have live, so that means one last option, system link. But the thing is, it's only one player per xbox. Also there are no bots, so it's you and some one else. Now I don't have system link all the time, so I can't even play multiplayer, because of this it reduces the replay value of the game. If you do have xbox live, then yes this game has excellent MP, as you can verse so many people, also there are lots of modes for you to choose from, and it is quite enjoyable.

Overall this game is worth it if you are a die-hard fan of FPS games, also if you have xbox live, this is a must get. Though if you’re not a complete fan of FPS games and do not get this game I really suggest that you rent this game before you buy.

THE GOOD:
~ The Gameplay
~ The Controls
~ Almost Perfect
~ The multiplayer

THE BAD:
The straightfowardness ( only one route to take )
The repetive AI
Only online multiplayer

SUMMARY:
Whew! Tom Clancy has outdone themselves. This game will have you glued to your sofa for weeks. This game has an elite squad, called Rainbow, to investigate the conflict of oil in Saudi Arabia. Gamers beware, they will not go down easily. 3 modes of difficulty ( easy, medium, hard ) and 14 levels of gameplay, you cannot go wrong with this purchase. Also, the multiplayer is the heart of this game. Sure enough, this comes enclosed with a free trial Xbox-Live card. Do yourself a favor, get Xbox-Live with this game. This is one of the best games Xbox has to offer ( shooter games at least ) and complete with Xbox-Live.
Frag an Clear, baby!!!

THE GOOD:
This game keeps you strategizing and will keep you busy for hours. The online play is fantastic.

THE BAD:
There isn't much wrong with this game. Ragdoll effects can be a problem.

SUMMARY:
If you like action games you will be glued to your television while playing this game. Great graphics and an incredible story line will keep you interested for hours on end.

The object of this game is to stop a group of terrorists. You, Ding Chavez, and three other men need to work your way through 14 levels of action and stop the terrorists before something bad happens.

Many gun choices is a positive for this game along with grenades and even gas masks and grenade launchers. Ragdoll effects are used a lot in this game and the bodies will fall down in odd positions.

The online experience will keep you playing for weeks. Most games will bore you after awhile but this game has yet do so for me. This game is A+ material.

THE GOOD:
awesome weapons- genius tactics- awesome team in single player mode

THE BAD:
no split screen- no co-op mode- lack of cheats to play around with

SUMMARY:
an awesome alt. to ghost recon. where that is slow, this game picks up the pace. awesome weapons and god like tactics make this a must have.

however i do wish there was a split screen mode like in ghost recon. other then that theres not much i can say to down the game.

i also wish there were some cool cheats to mess around with. there are two that are known of but i do wish there were more.

i didnt get the headset that you CAN use in this cause i didnt really see how it was nessesary for single player mode. all it really replaces is the action button anyway, but online i`m sure it has more use. i dont have Xbox live. but if i did....this game would become my life both online and off.

well worth the 50 bucks you shed to pick up this piece of xbox gold.

THE GOOD:
\-/

THE BAD:

SUMMARY:
The first time I played this game, I rented it. The game was amazing. I spent almost 4-6 hours playing thid lovely game. Now, I own it. Great game.

There are a few things that are bad about this game. One, no Co-Op. Thats basacially peoples only option if they dont have Xbox Live and want to play with friends. Two, you need your guys basically for the whole mission. If you lose two, your almost for sure to fail the mission and die. But, sometimes this isn't true. Three, the AI. Dont get me wrong, the AI is alright. But sometimes, the idiots dont shoot when you walk by.

The greatest part of this game is the graphics. My god, they are great. The levels are fully detailed. Just plain beautiful. Another is the controls. Easy to learn and use controls. Simply the best.

I recommend getting this game if you have an Xbox. One of the best action games out there. If you love Tom Clancy, get this game.

THE GOOD:
- Alot of weapons
- Online play
- Voice recognition
- Good AI

THE BAD:
- Sometimes getting your team to do exactly what you want if difficult.

SUMMARY:
The only reason I got this game is because alot of the people I talk to from Neoseeker had it, so I thought I would buy Xbox Live and Rainbow Six 3...And I'm very glad I did.

I didn't really know what to expect from the game to be honest as it was mainly the online feature that I was intrested in, but the offline play is excellent aswell.

I didn't know that I would be ordering my team around, and it is a very nice feature that they've done a good job in. Sometimes though they do seem a little slow and don't clear the whole room properly.

The online play is also very good, you can choose from Survivor/Team Survivor/Co-op missions. The first two are pretty much what you would expect, but I was suprised how good the last one is. It's good fun to have 4 friends on the same team and take on the AI...you can also use voice to help you along the way.

So, if your a fan of FPS games or have Xbox Live or thinking of getting it, then get this game! You won't regret it.

THE GOOD:
+ Big guns!
+ Voice recognition!
+ Great graphics
+ Immersive gameplay
+ Intense music
+ Easy controls

THE BAD:
- No split-screen options
- Sometimes too difficult
- Lose at least two members of your team through each level
- Requires a lot of trial and error

SUMMARY:
People say this game is like Ghost Recon. That is Ghost Recon on steroids. It isn't. While Ghost Recon is about planning waypoints, R6:3 is about talking to your teammates. While GR is about split-screen, R6 is about system link. While GR is about rock-hard controls and dodgy graphics, R6 is about perfecting gaming to the point of making it an art form.
This game is so good on so many levels. The controls, graphics and sound are awesome. AWESOME!! Ghost Recon and Splinter Cell cower under this. Great game. No two ways about it.

THE GOOD:
ITS GREAT!! i thought the tactical advantage would have gone then i bought it and its supoub!! the idea you get to chuck smoke grenades into buildings and go into thermal view is classy

THE BAD:
not found one problem yet.

SUMMARY:
This game is a must buy for all rainbow six fans or if you just want a good tactical shooter. really its go in shoot some guys chuck a few flash bangs blow a few doors apart and your good to go!! What really made me happy was that you get to command your team through the xbox live headset..that was fun..you can say GOGO to almost anything..also just openin doors and chucking stuff in was really kewl. there is no word in any language that can describwe how classy this game is!! its sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo FUN!!But...(this is a good but) when i went online with it........it blew me away!! so many options to choose for your gameplay and it was just pure 100% good fun!!!The whole point of this is that you can play lvl's you aint even got with your friends or strangers who're out for fun..but there are a few ppl on xbox live who do spoil the fun for us gamerz! so they get blocked which is fun...so over all i'd give this game a 10/10 cause its all a gamer could ask for this christmas or any time of the year..i got it for savin my mum and dad £100 worth of money.. good present!!

Xbox  Tom Clancy Has Done It Again 4.7

THE GOOD:
-

THE BAD:
-

SUMMARY:
The 1 Player Game:

Take Ghost Recon, make it 3 times better and add Voice Recognition. You got Rainbow Six.

And it's the Voice Recognition that really makes the game. You can order your teammates around, you can tell them to defuse the bomb, open and clear the room, open and throw a grenade in. That's just a few of the commands. You can find them all in the Instruction Manual.
So if your not going to join the army this is the closest you can get.

Now. If you don't got a Voice Communicator, don't worry! You can still do the commands but it isn't that fun. If you look at the door you will see an icon. Press A and your squad will do what the icon means. (Icons are described in the Instruction Manual)

This game got 12 levels, from stealth missions where you can only use a handgun to killing missions where you can choose from the best weapons.
It's almost the same though. Rescue the hostages, defuse the bomb. But it never gets old.

This game is from the makers of Splinter Cell, and uses the same engine so the shadows and graphics are absolutely amazing! Look closer and you will notice some amazing details.

There is one bad part that really sucks...
If you are in a small room, your teammates WILL stand in the way of you. That really sucks if your getting shot at because you CAN kill your teammates. Order them out of the room using the Voice Recognition.

The Game: 3.8/5.0
Summary: GREAT! But can be become a little boring and frustrating at times. But if you don't have Xbox Live I still reccomend buying this game.

The Online Part (Xbox Live):

Now this is the sweet part! And this is a reason alone to get the game.

It's VERY easy to find a game that you like.
You can choose from Survival, Team Survival, Sharpshooter, Terrorst Hunt, Mission and it's easy to find a game for any of those gametypes.

Go to options and you can change how you look. `
Sweet eh?

Be careful and look after a game with good connection (3 stars) That isn't really hard. If your hosting and a guy with 1 star enters your room give him a couple of rounds and see if he gets more stars. (That can happen if someone is using a computer in his house)
If he still has 1 start kick him (sorry but that's how life is). He WILL make your game laggy.

When you find a game you must in most cases wait until the round is over. Then you can change weapon, grenades. When your ready press X. To change team press Y.

You can change levels while playing. Changing levels takes around 2 minutes so go piss if you need to.

I love most levels in this game. Airport 1, Garage (Needs to be downloaded Free), Old City is perfect Team Survival levels. Some levels like City Streets Large is horrible for Team Survivial but great for Survival.

If you look directly at another player without Gas Mask and he talks you will see his lips move. You will also notice that his eyelid is moving.

Downloadable Content: Right now, only the Garage level is available. Free. But more will come over the next months.

The Online Part: 4.9/5.0
Summary: You got Xbox Live? BUY THIS GAME.
It's great, with loads of players playing it. It will entertain you for days.

Overall: 4.7

THE GOOD:
======================
----------------------
======================

THE BAD:
======================

======================

SUMMARY:
This is a somwehat unique game in the sense that it is Xbox LIVE compatible and you can command your squadmates in the camaign mode by voice. One of those does not work that well, and Xbox LIVE is not it. The only thing that redeems this game is the fact that it's Tom Clancy, and that is always good. This game is almost like Ghost Recon: Island Thunder, but it has some different and distinct qualities.
1) Stealth is very important. In Island Thunder you could blast your way through and do fine.
2) Its Online. This and SOFII:DH are the only really good Military Shooters and I have not seen anyone playing SOFII since the time I was on for 3 hours, and even then I didn't realize that I had to push the white button to talk.

I can say that the graphics are so much better, and there are really kick-ass weapons that you can choose from. This is really squad based, so, as expected, your squadmates AI is very good. You can control them by voice, which is iffy and may not work the first time, or you can use the old-fashioned menu.

Tom Clancy has ushered in a new standard for Shooters of this type, and improvements are welcomed.
