SUMMARY:
One of the earlier racing games for the Xbox, Quantum Redshift was/is Microsoft's answer to similar ranchises like F-Zero, Wipeout, and Extreme-G. The game is set 100 years in the future, with a rather interesting cast of racers entering hoping to race their way to fame, revenge, and the ultra-competitive Redshift tournament.
The graphics are very solid. The machines show a nice amount of detail and there are nice in-game effects, especially when you drive through water: Often the screen will appear to stay wet for a few seconds after, which offers great authenticity in the first-person view.
