THE GOOD:
Fantastic Gameplay; fluid action; very rewarding if you can master it; stunning visuals, and excellent audio.

THE BAD:
Some chapters and audio can become repetitive; unrealistic AI at times; Camera can be tricky, especially during boss fights.

SUMMARY:
Ninja Gaiden Black is essentially the Director’s cut of the original Ninja Gaiden for Xbox. This edition not only adds to the original story, but also gives two new difficulty levels (ninja dog, and master ninja), a mission mode, some new weapons & costumes, and new enemies to fight.

At its core, Ninja Gaiden is an action-adventure game. As its title suggests, you take the role of a young Ninja, Ryu Hayabusa, who is out to avenge his clan (incidentally called the Hayabusa Ninja Clan). His clan is tasked with safeguarding the Dark Dragon Blade, a powerful sword that is carved out of the bones of a black dragon, which increases its wielder’s power with every...

THE GOOD:
Added two more difficulty levels, Ninja Dog(very easy) and Master Ninja(Insanely Hard) which really up the replay value, not too mention certain things are unlocked by playing through on these difficulty levels. They also added a few new enemies and even a new weapon.

They also added another new feature missions, which included different challenging fights.

THE BAD:
Master Ninja could be considered a tad way over the top in difficulty. Very Hard was hard enough.

Camera angle can be a trouble to focus at times.

If you had played Ninja Gaiden before then you would know...

SUMMARY:
Ninja Gaiden Black isn't a sequel, it's a remake. Many people flocked to buy the original back in early 2004, many more flocked in late 2005 for this one.

Ninja Gaiden Black isn't an innovative game, but that doesn't mean it's a rip-off of any game. If anything, this game takes hack and slash and brings it to a whole new level with such an in-depth fighting system that gives the game a style all it's own.

First off, I'll talk about the graphics. Coming from Team Ninja's Tomonobu Itigaki, of course this game is going to look(and feel) absolutely amazing. Though hard to tell a graphical difference from the original Xbox Ninja Gaiden, the game is amazingly beautiful. The cutscenes are marvelous, even...
