THE GOOD: The game itself is a blast to play. The 24/7 mode really does add another game inside a game. The game looks really good, it plays well. I haven't played NBA Live yet but Im sure this is better.THE BAD: Now the bad...I HATE the freethrow meter thing, it's horrible...you have to hit it perfect..PERFECT or you will miss...sometimes even when you get it perfect you miss. Also I hate how they took away the zooms on the cameras. Personally I am a side basketball player..but no matter what camera angle you play. It's just too far away from the basket. Also with the Franchise mode, can you extend contracts on your players??? I couldn't find it anywhere...the whole Front Office in the Franchise mode is confusing...and I have played many many games with Franchises and have not had a problem. One last thing, the game feels too slow...The last NBA @K series I had was 2K3 for the Dreamcast, and it was faster than this game. SUMMARY: Overall the bads can be looked past. Because this is really a fun game and there's all kinds of little things that keep you sucked in. It's defintely worth the 50 bucks if you are into real NBA simulation basketball...if you are more in to arcadey basketball go get NBA Street Vol. 2 at Gamestop. |

THE GOOD: 24/7 Mode gives you another game inside the best simulation basketball created. Iso motion, gives you the feeling of real control on offense and defence.THE BAD: You cannot use your 24/7 created character in your franchise or season modes!! But this is promised for next year. You cannot manually adjust your camera angles like NBA2K3- why did they take that away? SUMMARY:
This is REAL basketball people, every play is not a tomahawk dunk from the baseline. If your looking for the fake he's on fire, or the crossover+crossover+dunk technique, go and get Nba Jam or ( Nba Unreal I mean Nba Live )True Sega fans get that joke. Speaking of graphics, this year you will see the sweat on the jerseys, as well as a smarter "sweat" on players, the shorts move in the wind and you move around the court. Every face of EVERY player has been redone, to give you ultimate graphics for everyone. So forget having the names of player under them, because you can look and see who everybody is. Block shots have been revamped so its not like Live 04' where you get all of your shots thrown, but it does put fear of coming into the paint and seeing a Ben Wallace holding ground. Look people I could sit here all day and tell you point for point why this game will be the best sports game ever made. I'm telling you if you love basketball the way I do. GET THIS GAME !!! If you have any questions feel free to ask-

THE GOOD: The graphics in this game are among the best I have ever seen. The 24/7 mode in this game is the greatest thing since pornos.THE BAD: Gameplay is still a little to slow, but everything else in the game is designed to perfection. SUMMARY: If you are a basketball junkie this is the game to get not NBA Live 2004. In this game there is also a 24/7 mode where you can compete in drills with other people, raise your persons stats, and even win things like jerseys etc... The great thing however about this game is that you will have the opportunity to take a team like the Cavs and through many years of hard work make them a Championship contender. I have yet to actually play the game itself but I know that it is worth every penny of its 50 dollar cost which is why I recommend everyone to buy this game |
