THE GOOD:
-Great gameplay, easy to learn/use
-Lots of different Mechs to choose from, and download
-XBL is great for this game, lots of replay value
-Graphics are actually pretty nice
-Multiplayer gametypes are classic

THE BAD:
-Lackluster storyline, which led to a boring campaign
-I pity the fool who has this game, and no XBL

SUMMARY:
I first got this game along with a 12-month subscription to Xbox Live, and I was fortunate for that. I played the whole campaign first, and was disappointed that it was boring and short. Then, I went on XBL, and everything was different. The multiplayer is mainly better in general because instead of playing dumb AIs that don't even care about dying, to real people that think and act just like you. That changes everything, and suddenly, the game is competitive and exciting.

THE GOOD:
hey, as far as mechanized combat goes this is good one. lots of cool boss fights, and interesting settings to fight in, as well as incredibly interesting mobile suits to fight in, and to top it all off, a good story. the weapons each mechwarrior offers is good, and also different, without any of them being too different. And the voice acting is very good as well.

THE BAD:
Sort of easy at some parts, but at the same time, if you die once, you get sent back very, very far, and it's tedious work fighting through the same easy stuff you did last time, only to come across whatever killed you, and get killed again.

SUMMARY:
In total it's a fun game for the casual gamer, but hardcore gamers will notice alot missing and alot to be desired, still, in all it's a nice, easy to pick up game for everyone to try out.

THE GOOD:
MechAssault has very good graphics. Destroying your environments is pretty cool. You can play 2 players on Xbox Live at the same time. This game is very fun on Xbox Live and Downloadable content via Xbox Live will keep this game fresh for awhile.

THE BAD:
There is no customization in this game like in the old MechWarrior games. The campaign missions really aren't that fun either. Multiplayer is only for 2 players and isn't really very fun when not on Live.

SUMMARY:
If you have Xbox Live this is a must have game. At first it wasn't very fun on Live, then as I started playing it more and more it became much more enjoyable. If you do not have Xbox Live give it a rent to see if you like it first. I suggest that if you buy this game, buy it for it's Xbox Live support and not for the single player and offline multiplayer.

THE GOOD:
Great graphics, great gameplay, exception replay value, good campaign mode, long missions, Live capabilities, multi-player...

THE BAD:
Sort of repetitive campaigne missions(go blow up that, go blow up this, etc.)

SUMMARY:
I was a little skeptical at first about this game but once I had it in my Xbox, I couldn't resist playing for hours on end. The online play is what really kept me hooked. Its great and it won't bore you anytime soon. The campaign modes however, suprised me. I didn't think they were going to be all that great but boy was I wrong. They are action packed, with loads of different enemies to destroy, they are of high difficulty and there are several missions.

Overall Outcome: Buy It!

THE GOOD:

THE BAD:
Cant customize the weapon inventory

SUMMARY:
Mech Assault is a great game for people that want a challenge. Its detailed and very realistic in graphics, depth, and gameplay. Xbox live takes the game to a whole new level when playing people all over the world. Most of the time though, you have to really be an expert or try really hard to beat people online because they are freaks when it comes to playing games. NERDS!!!! Anyways, its a great game for people who want a challenge...

THE GOOD:
Destruction to the buldings, the weapons, and the MP.

THE BAD:
The limited amount of mechs and levels.

SUMMARY:
Mechassult was the first game i beat after recieving my XBOX. It was fun at the begining but slowed down being extremely repetitive. I find it more entertaining playing it on XBOX Live. THe Downloadable content does not help the minimum amount of mechs. A build your own mech option could livin up the variety in multi player.

THE GOOD:
The best thing about this game is how real the explosions look. I'm sayin' that mechassault has the best explosion graphics ever. PERIOD.

THE BAD:
The bad part is that there are only 20 missions to play.

SUMMARY:
Be able to jump into dozens of mechs and destroy everything in each level. Battle through 20 missions in campaign mode and try to stop the Word of Blake. The possibilities are endless. I recommand everyone who has an xbox to go and purchase mechassault.

THE GOOD:
Everthing about this game is great the graphics rock the game story is very fun and you will want to go back to play more. The best part about this game is the live version, U get to play against a bunch of other people who own an Xbox and you get to kick there ass.

THE BAD:
nothing is bad with this game

SUMMARY:
The game is great. It is so much fun to play with your buddies and you wont want to put it down. I think the best part of the game is the live action, if you do not have Xbox live you should go out and buy it then the first game you get should be Mech Assault.

THE GOOD:
Graphics & Gaming is great!!!

THE BAD:
Not as much options as in the PC game...

SUMMARY:
This is a GREAT game. I've been playing the PC version online for over a year and think it is wonderful(MechWarrior 4, Black Knight, Mercs). The X-Box version just is not as customizeable as the PC version. Still it is a Great game, and harder to complete than many will think! It is one of the best games out for X-Box this year. (I have not played X-Box Live yet)

THE GOOD:
It has XBox Live, it has good graphics, the fighting, the sound effects, the plot and the scenary.

THE BAD:
The second level Mech

SUMMARY:
It is one of those games where the graphics kicks ass. And it is better then those other wanna-be Mech games. If you've played the first level of Medal of Honor and you loved the sound then you will adore the sound for this game.


The plot is real cool not too confusing and not to stupid military stlye sort of. And you can play Live and fight the best and test your skills. And the scenary is cool too real life like. And the weapons are so cool there are so many weapon chooses and not only that but more Mechs. Fast ones, powerful ones or a combo of the 2.
