THE BAD:

SUMMARY:
The Lord of the Rings fellowship of the Ring.... 5 years ago I would never have thought that there would be a movie and a video game and that the movie would spark a giant trend and three other movies. I did half expect the game to not be quite as good. And I was right. Firstoff the games camera angles are severely messed up. Second the controls are wonky at best. And finally there is just not enough in this game for someone who hasn't seen or played the movie. Now the playing as different characters as you progress is innovative, but after that the whole game is nearly like all other third person action/adventure games. It just does this with a Lord Of The Rings outfit on. Kill some stuff find an item pull a switch. Kill some more guys get some items progress, help someone find some stuff, kill...

THE BAD:
Some parts of the game are really hard to understand and another really bad one Gandalf cant jump

IM SO SORRY TO HAV TO PUT THIS HERE BUT PLEASE HELP I AM STUCK IN MORIA WITH GANDALF AND IM SUPPOSED TO FIND THE EXIT BUT IVE BEEN TRYING TO FIND IT FOR 2 WEEKS NOW PLEASE HELP ME AND TELL WHERE IT IS I WOULD BE VERY GRATEFULL

THE BAD:
The loading time is unbearable and once you get your adjective done the fellowship just kind of show up what is up with that?!

SUMMARY:
I have a question for anyone that wants to answer (Please!) I am stuck in Moria with Gandalf and no spirit. I have to hit a lever to get across a bridge. Is there a way to "regain" spirit or is there anything I can do. Please help me!

The fact that the musis kept cutting out was very frustrating.

This game would extremely difficult to understand if you had not read the book, the immense complexity of moria means that you basically must purchase the official strategy guide to complete this level.

Ah, the semi-ancient art of making a licensed work into a game. Never quite worked out, did it?? Much less develop an immensely popular book/movie into a game. Well, though it's far from perfect, Black Label's take on Lord of the Rings did, to a degree, reach that goal. First and foremost, this review is based entirely on the PC version. Since this site didn't have it listed (ahem), I unfortunately couldn't bring this review there. I won't bore you with the story, especially considering that half of you know it. So let's cut to the chase, hmm?? The cinematic cutscenes are well-animated and portray some real effort. However, I think we can all agree that the XBox can handle much more than this. This game was awsome! That is it! AWSOME! The graphics are amazing and it ties into the book pretty good, but not perfectly. But in this case, it was good it didn't follow the book to the word. I was amazed in the first 5 minutes beond belief. In the first part of the game it was a little slow, but then things started heating up! This game was a toughie too. I loved the non-tradishinol boss battles. This game is a MUST-BUY!

The game is very linear, short and it follows a book.

SUMMARY:
I don't know if following a story is really a good thing, because this was one of the most linear games I have ever played. It is a pity cause with such beautiful landscapes, you couldn't enjoy them, you were stuck, for the most part on one friggin path. The game truly was one of the most beautiful games to look at, but that's about it. It is really short and again very linear. Just as your getting to enjoy Aaragon, you loose him and your the wizard, and there's another problem. I rarely used his magic, by simply blocking and backing into a corner then striking, I could defeat anyone with his sword, who needs to waste magic. I was very dissapointed, at what started off as a really neat game, quickly became just another interactive movie, based on the book!!!
