THE GOOD:
Unique style and gameplay; truly fun mix of graffiti and skating.

THE BAD:
Lack of difficulty levels; some songs can be annoying.

SUMMARY:
Wow, this is a blast from the past. Well, not too far in the past, but Jet Set Radio Future (JSRF) came out very early in the lifetime of the first Xbox (around 2002). This game is without a doubt, one of the most unique and interesting games that I’ve ever played.

The game is set in Tokyo sometime in the near future. The city is being dominated by a corporation known as the Rokkaku group. Rokkaku Gouji is the head of this corporation and controls everything: police, industry, society, and even culture. He wants everything to be uniform and despises those who aren’t obedient towards him.

But the streets are the home of numerous skate gangs who cover up their (and each other’s) territory in their graffiti. You take the role of a member in one of the rising...

(Story 9) You start the game off as the GG's pizza guy, known as Yoyo. After a bit of training, you join them and set off into the streets to help them spray GG graffiti over other gangs. There are plenty of gangs in the game; so many, some are only briefly mentioned. Most of them are your enemies but there are some people out there that aren't part of any gang. Those you can impress by showing off skills or racing and if you impress them enough, they'll join you. Moving on, the story could be said to be short. There may be nine chapters but some can be short while others are at a reasonable length. There are really two things going on at once for you to handle. While trying to track down and defeat other gangs, like Poison Jam and the Noise Tanks you've got the Rokkaku police to defeat as well. The boss of the men known as Hayashi is a crazy guy and bad tempered. It's says, in a radio broadcasting of Jet Set Radio that he trashed a police patrol car as the guy inside didn't buy him...

THE GOOD:
The music rules baby, imo unique game graphics, well this is the xbox most things about the game actually.

THE BAD:
Too easy Roboy :_puke: not much else

SUMMARY:
This game is great, just like the first one. it has some of the best music of any game I have ever played. the music is very unique and it has beat to it and no bad lyrics which is what I like about it although some songs aren't as good but it's a game you can't expect to like all the music can you? I can't believe anyone would hate the music but that's just my oppinion. I do however find the ways of this game a little wierd, I mean you can destroy things and kill people with paint o_O. The characters are cool and there are alot of them to play as to boot, but alot of the none playable characters are annoying, like roboy but you end up playing as him if you complete the game properly and the police captain(forgot his name). This is an awesome game...

THE GOOD:
Graphics, design, futuristic, and cel shading

THE BAD:
Annoying voices/music, Repetition

SUMMARY:
This game is absolutely awesome. If you are into futuristic games, or action games, this is a must buy. The graphics are awesome, and very high standards I would say for Japanese work (no offence). I just am not a big fan of Japanese drawings of people.

There is only two downsides that I can think of. One of these (and they have to do with eachother) is that if something happens, like you fall for a while where you shouldnt be, you start screaming, and I find these screams extremely high pitched and annoying. Also, some of the music selection was not to my liking, but still pretty good music. Some of the songs get pretty repetative, and some are downright a pain in the ear, but that just adds to the game, in a great way. This game, if you try to beat it a few times can get very repetative, however.

THE GOOD:
This game has lots of cool challenges, mazes and puzzles to solve, lots of fun and interesting boss fights to fight, and tons of cool characters to play as. The levels are all unique and diverse, with their own touch and taste to them that makes every mission creative and cool. The boss fights are also a blast, since they offer a fun challenge without being too hard, or too easy. This game is at a level of difficulty anyone can work through while enjoying it.
One of the best features of this game is the crazy soundtrack, which has upbeat music that can get you in the right state of mind for the insane gameplay.

THE BAD:
Maybe a little vague when it comes to your objectives, and also the graphics, while interesting, aren't as good as they could've been. The voice acting needs so work, and sometimes it can feel unfair when things are set up so that you get shafted.

THE GOOD:
What the hell do you mean by good?

THE BAD:
Graphics suck
Music sucks
Makes people think they're cool by playing this game
and almost everything else about it.

SUMMARY:
I'm a huge fan of sega ever since I played the genesis. But this is a huge disappointment. Luckily, I didn't buy it at full price, I just got it with my X-Box. I completely ignore this game and play the other one on the disc, Sega GT 2002. If you ask me, don't buy this. And for you people that say the graphics rock, play another game and see how good they are. I could play the SNES and say the graphics are better and actually tell the truth.

DO NOT BUY THIS GAME! I REPEAT DO NOT BUY THIS GAME.

And if I'm badmouthing your favorite game, I seriously don't give a damn. I have my own opinion.

THE GOOD:
Music
Ideals
Tricks
very Fast Game

THE BAD:
Games get repetitive after a while
Some grafitti is difficult to find

SUMMARY:
Anyone who owns an X-Box needs to have this game in their collection. It is a must buy.

Genuine ideals attracted me to this game. Cel-shading is not my first choice, but after playing this game, I wouldn't have it any other way. The game is fast paced, fun, and addictive. Especially with the game music, which really adds to the cultural ideals that this game is trying to take a look at.

Some of the challenges are extremely difficult, and you may get frustrated from time to time, but do not give up. You will figure things out.

You probably won't find a game like this too often, so whether your a fan of grafitti art or not, get the game, and most importantly, have fun.

THE GOOD:
Great game with a great storyline the best game i've ever played its even up there with the legend <Halo> great sports adventure (if thats what u want to call it)

THE BAD:
the only bad thing is the last level its a load of dog do do's

SUMMARY:
Well as da Score Guide says "Perfection in every way" the score only goes up to 5 but i give it a 10/10 101% ect.

PS. U MUST BUY THIS GAME

THE GOOD:
Nothing but the gameplay and the storyline. The moves and tricks are enough, too.

THE BAD:
The graphics are below-par, and cell-shaded. Which idiot thought of making their game look like a cartoon? The game is really hard, too. And long. The characters mouths don't even move right when they're talking. The idea that painting an enemy will destroy him is pure fantasy. Its enemies get repetitive, too.

SUMMARY:
In the end, Its the only game I own that I can't complete. Its sooo long, and the Rokkaku groups thugs get repetitive after the fourth or fifth time. The cell shading gets annoying, and ITS HARD! Especially the Immortals. Their graffiti is 100ft on top of skyscapers....

I love this game! I thoroughly enjoyed playing it, My favorite character is Combo because when the police beat on him it doesn't hurt him that bad. I never use Corn because he looks dumb, even though he wears a cool jacket. I haven't won the game yet but I have spent over 18 hours of my life on it and those were some of the best 18 hours I have spent gaming. The characters are wearing much less clothing than in the first one, and a lot of the original songs are back and remixed. It also has a great japanese-ness. Thumbs up!!
