Two years after Project Gothem Racing was released onto the Xbox comes the anticipated Project Gothem Racing 2. What makes both the game's really good is in my opinion gaining Kudos in lots of different ways which will be explained later.

So to start off is the handling. This game is not like Burnout, you wont be travelling at ridiculous speeds steering madly all over the place, instead you use drifting and accurate steering to maneuver your way around the games huge selection of tracks. The word to describe the feeling is "tense", you don't get the ability to swerve all over the course meaning skill will be needed to go round tricky angles and corners. Different cars have different stats though meaning which car you pick can influence what position you come in a race, leaving you needing to...

THE BAD:
The game soundtrack is a little too horrible to be considered music, and the AI is whacked

SUMMARY:
Project Gotham Racing 2 is definitely a step up in racing games, even from PGR1. I would consider it the 2nd best racing game ever, next to Gran Turismo 3. The graphics for this game are smooth and vivid. There are many cars to choose from (Porsche Cayenne Turbo or Ferrari Enzo? You decide). Also, the levels are detailed, and the gameplay is just downright fun. I could spend hours on Xbox Live and never get tired. The only snags that I can think of is the music. 99% of the songs I don't even know, so I just turn it off and listen to my engine and full throttle. One other snag is the AI system. I really haven't play Project Gotham before, but the guy at the store suggest i play it cause he thinks its a real gran turismo killer. So i thought i'll give it a go. Well all the cars are the from lotus elises, skylines GTR etc, giving me the impression its a GT style of game. Also you race around in street circuits in some of the cities of the world from stockholm, sydney and even edinborough. However thats where the similarites end. For starters you unlock races. And in those races you have to select the cars available to race. Some cars are locked and the only way to get them is earn kudos points. You earn kudos points by doing more riskier moves such as "drifting" a car round a corner or passing a number of cars in one passing manuver. However in most cases you don't really...

And it's good I tell you, *bleep*ing good.


Offline Review:

You have probably played NFS or GT on PS2.
Mix those 2 games, make it 3 times better and add an amazing point system.
Kudos, the point system, Is absolutely amazing, earn kudos by driving with slide
Pull off amazing slides, go 360's, drive on 2 wheels and much more
And for the first time Drafting!
Drive behind other cars to gain Kudos and speed advantage.
This is important if you want to overtake (Earn More Kudos!) a car.

Kudos World Championship is the main single player game.
You start on the bottom with crap cars like Mini Cooper and Ford Focus.
In each class there are several events. Street Race, Overtake, Speed Camera, One on One, Cone...

THE GOOD:
I have no problems with it. The graphics are the best I have ever seen in a car game so far. The buttons are basically the same from the original.

THE BAD:
There are no cheats(so far)! What were they thinking?!

SUMMARY:
They have the best of the best cars in the game. They don't have any Lambo's though. But they do have the Ferrari Enzo. They probably don't have cheats yet, but I think they would include cheats because they did in the first one-maybe because it is so new we haven't found them yet-o' well. This game is definitely a best seller. If i could I would give it a ten rating. I have played the first game and loved it but it didn't have many cars that is why I didn't buy it, but this has way way way more. And the some of the cars aren't even from this decade-some are from the 80's! And you know they rock! The lights on the cars also come on when it is dusk. I mean they did on the last...

SUMMARY:
Pretty good racing game overall it is fun to goto the dealer and testdrive all the cars that you havent driven or bought yet. sliding is pretty easy and its also good that the game doesnt take away all your kudos for a simple bump into the wall also cool to go into the garage and look at your cars although being able to see all of your cars in one big garage would be better and the minigame is prettey fun. the dealer could inprove if you saw other people walkin around in the shop and lookin at the cars or a salesperson. the game over all is worth the money and will be able to keep even non racing fans coming back for more

Well here it is, finally. First let me start out by saying my review will probably not sway you from the brainwashing and propoganda this game has given you, but here are the facts: 1. This game feels exactly like Project Gotham Racing One. 2. The handling of the cars in Project Gotham Racing One sucked. 3. The graphics are some of the best on any system. 4. Extensive Xbox LIVE abilities. 5. There are alot more cars, most of which are cool. 6. With the amount of hype this game has recieved, any review of it you see is probably biased. So if you liked the first game, this would be a great sequel for you. If you want a good online racer, go ahead and try it, but rent first.
