THE GOOD:
Just about everything, there are pages worth

THE BAD:
None of these are bad in my opinion, but they are bad to some people:

1. Turn-based fighting
2. No Xbox live
3. Very long game (over 70 hours gameplay)

SUMMARY:
This is THE BEST game I've ever played. I've never been so addicted. I can't imagine life without it now, it has become my "life's blood"!

This is no ordinary RPG game. You really gotta use your head and strategically place and move each player. There are many, many different characters to choose from, and endless battles to fight. You collect hundreds of different weapons, skills, accessories, and armor to improve each player in your school (up to 20).

I would reccomend this game to anyone, it's very entertaining, and VERY addicting!

SUMMARY:
The game starts off with you chosing between your hero (either Valens, the son of a famous warrior, or Ursula, the daughter of a barbarian king), and with an optional tutorial (play it your first time through for sure) but the first few fights are just boring.

From there, you can start to decide stuff for yourself, and you can choose your gladiators, and where you want to fight.

No matter which hero you choose, their paths will cross, and you will end up with both of them on your gladiator roster. Also, as your school progresses through the game's 4 countries, your school rises in teirs (amateur, pro, etc). With...

I rented this game without reading any magazine review and i when i popped it in the xbox and 12 hours later the controller hadn't dropped the control i new buying this game might be a good investment. I love changing my characters clothing to match each other. Its like playing barbie with barbarians. after i get the team to match we go to the arena and fight the same battles over and ovar again but each one is different in some way. For instance in a battle of king of the hill i may be fighting all humans a few heavy and a few light but then in the next battle in this tournament they will all be animals or all medium fighters or heavy, etc. The story is ok if u want to follow along which i dont really cuz its a cliche that has been played over and over again but this game makes it a little better somehow.
