THE GOOD:
Well the game is based in ancient China some where from sometime to sometime. You can almost play through the whole war in "Story mode" or just have fun in Musou mode. Theres also a free mode and duel. Duel is a new 'mode' for DW4 you can go 1 on 1 or more if I recall correctly. The sound effects are just breath taking..if you enjoy classical chinese music then you might as well crank up the music volume in the options menu, just don't wake up your neighbors =P.

THE BAD:
Well there isn't much bad besides the fact theres sometimes a bit of a slow down, but it isnt bad enough to ruin your gameplay.

Well overall I love this game I've put many many hours in to it.

THE GOOD:
Dynasty Warriors 4 is Koei's latest installment in their Romance of the Three Kingdoms based beat 'em up series. It depicts the epic story of the three kingdoms of Wu, Shu, and Wei. It also tells several ''untold stories'' of other officers who aren't affiliated with either of the kingdoms.

Story wise, this game can't get any better. It's based on a great novel, which is based on actual history. Story Mode or ''Musou Mode'' allows you to choose a side and fight to supremacy. Your object is of course to conquer all of China. Sounds pretty simple, right? Well, you can also unlock Musou modes for several generals who weren't in WU, Shu, or Wei, including the fearsome Lu Bu. These extra stories are entertaining, and add some more replay value to this game.

The music in this game is also great. The designers wanted a ''Classical Chinese music played with modern instruments'' sound, but most of the music is more modern sounding. Guitars a...

THE GOOD:
- Lots of characters with plenty of diversity in each kingdom.<br>- Loads of unlcokables and easily hundreads of hours gameply in it if not more if you want to complete it with every character 100%.<br>- Well designed levels with excellent stories and sub-plots to back it up.<br>

THE BAD:
- Having to play the same levels with each member of each kingdom sometimes gets tiresome at times.

SUMMARY:
Dynasty Warriors 2 was excellent, 3 was amazing and this just blows both of those out of the water. It has over 40 characters, 50 levels and tons of unlockables. Also over its prequels it has the ability to make your own general and bodyguards, plus a new and improved weapon and charcter leveling system. With plenty of stuff to do and see this game will last your forever, literally!<br><br>If you have an Xbox get it!

SUMMARY:
DW4, is a great all around game. It has many good features. like good GFX, good replay. This game is a great way to have fun when your down or bored, or majorly stressed out. If you have friends over just pop out Soul caliber II and DW4 and you will be set for the rest of the day. Dw4 has great controlls, easy to understand directions on levles. The specials and battle system are great and easy to use. Although somtimes its a little too hack and slash type game. I whould recomend this game to any one that has a lot of friends or brothers that whould enjoy playing with you. This game also has great replay value, and whould be fun to play anytime of the day and almost in any mood.

DW4 - The opening sequence begins, as a thunderstorm followed by a rattling gong play the sky. Followed by the smooth texture of a warrior's sword, catapults fling massive, molten rocks into the air. They rumble, and break, as green, oriental dragons burst from their shells and fly through the air. Your heart pounds, along with the monster-ballad rock music. -That's just the excitement DW4 can give you. I'll start with the good. DW4's variety of colorful characters is outstanding! -enemy attacks too predictable.
-they should have made it as brutal as it is in the book.

SUMMARY:
this game is by far, one of the best I have played up to date. the game features, I think 40-42 characters? all of which have their own pros and cons. the misou attacks are neat, especially when guan yu does his, and the camera does a 360 around him. the fighting is fairly fast, and the bosses could have been harder. your body guards are very useful. you can tell them to wait, attack or defend you. you can also join other forces to bring down a common enemy. items are clear and easy to recognize, and actually work. you can shoot your bow and knock someone off their horse. what is also nice is that there are several...
