Counter-Strike

THE BAD:
The death animations are a little weak. Also, this game may not appeal to some people, since it's offline mode is nothing but playing with bots.

SUMMARY:
This game is pretty good. Aside from weak death animations, everything in the graphical department is top-notch. The levels are bright and amazing. They take place in such locations as a desert, a mansion, a jungle.. hell, even a colliseum. If you have the PC version of Counter-Strike, there's really not anything new here. However, if you're new to the series, you should definitely check this baby out. It's best played over Xbox Live, like I've stated before. The single player mode is basically what you'd be doing online, but instead of human-controlled opponents, you face computer-controlled ones. It's still pretty fun, and as addictive as herroine.

THE BAD:
-The draw distance gets darker as you walk farther from something, like they tried to add dynamic lighting but failed
-bots get boring to play with after a while
-while playing with bots, you are unable to speed up a round when you die, you just wait it out....

SUMMARY:
This game doesnt boasts everything the pc version doese. I hated not having a keyboard and the lack of any auto-aim was frustrating, but what can you do. This game has all the same great maps from PC and while they look and run good on the xbox, the draw distance is dark and horible. While its fun to play with the bots, its gets...

SUMMARY:
this game is fun. if you like to system link with your friends or play on xbox live, you must own this game. the gameplay was tweaked perfectly to suit a controller and the action stays quick and smooth throughout the entire game, no matter how many are playing. also, custom soundtracks were added (suprisingly) to this game, which makes it that much more fun to play. i just love killing terrorists while listening to "when a man loves a woman" by michael bolton. it doesn't get any better than that. that part was a lie. i hate michael bolton. the point is that you can listen to anything you want and that's just awesome. the only thing that was done poorly in counter-strike was the visuals. the graphics are definitely mediocre at best......if this game were on the ps2. on the xbox, so much...
