Crash Bandicoot arrived on the scene in late 1996, and it quickly competed with the likes of Sonic, even though it was dissipating at the time, and Mario, which came out with one of the greatest games ever invented in the same month. Anyways, Crash Bandicoot hasn't evolved very much in the past decade, and it still is going strong, even though it has swaggered a bit on the next-generation consoles. Crash Bandicoot still has the same gameplay, same storyline, same everything for the exception of the racing consoles. But, on with the show.
Gameplay:
As I said before, the Crash Bandicoot formula hasn't changed much since its release in '96. The levels are quite fun and inviting, but anyone that has stuck through the Crash Bandicoot series for nine years now has gotten pretty tired, although sometimes there is an exception.
