THE GOOD: Graphics, war feel, fighting, tank hunting, squad controls
THE BAD: Difficulty, weeny bit short, inventory controls
SUMMARY: This game is quite good, with nice graphics, weapons, and other stuff, but the difficulty ruins it a bit because the enemy soldiers see you from freaking long distances, so removing the classic "element of surprise" But although they can see you from great distances, they still run at you like headless chickens, which turns the game into a "pill box" game, where you sit tight and mow down as many soldiers as possible. Another problem is the length, but is made up for by having tough enemies that keep you stuck in a certain area for ages, significantly LENGTHENING the game. The inventory controls are also irritating, as you can only use one thing at once. For example, if you were in the middle of a firefight, and got hit, and you got your medkit out and healed yourself, you'd then have to cycle back to your gun...
SUMMARY: This game kicks ass, not 2 complicated just pure war enjoyment, no head messing problems, just give me a gun and lets go desert hunting, i love the A1 i love the scores of soldiers on hard level, give me the scope let me pop a head or two or three or 4 keep them coming, or just plane blow the mothers up boom take dat. This game aint got fancy graphics although they work well but the game grabs you by the throut and shakes you around a while before dropping you and then putting the boot in, and man does it bruise you, you can have a war or go stealth, but hey im there for the war blood shed pass my sight and ill pop a cap in ya ass pow.

THE GOOD: Everything, but most of all the Combat feel it has to it. The squad based fighting requires tactics and coordination.
THE BAD: Its a tad bit short.
SUMMARY: If you are into realistic military shooters with a bit more strategy this is the game for you. The multiplayer is the best I´ve seen for the Xbox yet since it supports full wide-screen format and provides a large vertically-split screen for each player in 2player coop mode. I´m very surprised that the gamespot review rated is as a worthless game when I personally feel that its up there with HALO when considering the pure enjoyment of the game. The graphics are very sharp and quite good. For example the sand whirls around your feet when jogging through the desert. The half point reduction from the full pot score is for the length of the game, the campaign is rather short.
THE GOOD: intense involement, good control response, challenging, excellent in multiplayer
THE BAD: not much, i suppose graphics could be better and now and again figures appear to float i.e. when crawling over terrain.
SUMMARY: Excellent game. Makes you think about tactics no way can you rush in and be a hero. One of the best games of this type i have played. Loads of replay value, just to see if you can do it another way. I like the way yours troops get promoted and skills improve. Tried it on the Hard level the other day and you have to be Rambo, Arnie and the Invisible man to make any head way, saying that though with the right tactics it can be beaten. That's the best part of the game, figuring out the tactics and the great feeling when they pay off.

THE BAD: graphics are soso (lot of fog messes up sight!, environments are balnd. the difficulty is boosted up so play on easy (trust me)
SUMMARY: i must say once you get past the control learning curve and sub par graphics, you are left with a lean tactical shooter with open ended gameplay. due to the combination of skilled squad mates, situations can be handled so many different ways which makes for strategical game play. also note multi-play/co-op just adds that much more fun to the game.
