THE GOOD:Smooth: 60fps! Racing is fast, fast, fast! Crash mode is totally addicting, especially comparing your scores to the online scoreboard.
THE BAD:
Camera can be glitchy (esp in replays), no editable/saveable replays, interface is somewhat clumsy, later races are difficult (for me), manual is incomplete, other minor imperfections here and there
SUMMARY:
I've played race games that were prettier, although graphics here are very good. And this game is very arcadey (although it HAS to be, otherwise racing into downtown cross-traffic at 120mph would last only 30 seconds). The reason I love this game in spite all the glitches noted here and above is the incredible sense of speed you get in "burnout" mode.
Perhaps even more importantly, crash mode is a blast: because of crash mode, this is the first game that has my buddy wanting to buy an Xbox, and he's seen all the other titles I own, from Halo...
