Buffy The Vampire Slayer 2: Chaos Bleeds

THE GOOD:
Play as Buffy, Xander, Willow, Spike, Sid, Faith.

THE BAD:
Willow, Buffy and Anya all did not do their own voices.
Camera angles.
Dawn is missing.
Riley is missing.

SUMMARY:
Well, I don't know if it is that exact spot in the 5th Season of Buffy that Riley is still with us, but it would have been nice to see him. Right now I have not finished the game, but am trying to defeat Adam which is giving me a tough time. I like the idea that you can play as different characters throughout the game, but it would have been better if you were able to choose your own. I prefer to be Willow or Spike, but I must still play as Buffy, Faith, and Xander(which I do not like to play as).

The graphics in this game were quite good compared tot he first one. I also noticed that it has more puzzles in it than the first one which was mostly just killing....

-Willow and Buffy's voiceover--not done by the original actresses

SUMMARY:
All in all, I found this game very entertaining and well worth it. The first thing that got me excited about this game was the fact that you could play as other characters besides Buffy, which was your limit in the first game. This new feature allowed you to explore new battle techniques, such as Willow's spells and Sid's fists of fury.
The storyline was amazing as well, written by the writers of Buffy themselves. It fit right in to season five, using actual locations from the TV show, such as the Magic Box, Downtown Sunnydale, the...

The difference between Chaos Bleeds and the original Xbox Buffy game is like the difference between Civ2 and Civ3. Some cool stuff added, but far too much taken away to the point of aggravation. I have a long list of gripes and here we go:

The camera sucks. You will notice this right away and while you learn to manage it you will always be frustrated by it. The camera CONSTANTLY gets stuck on walls, barriers, lamp posts, trees. You name it, the camera will snafu on it. You'll find yourself running in larger than normal circles when turning just to give the camera the 18 wheeler breadth it needs to maneuver around. The original Buffy camera was great, you could look all around (this camera won't let you look up), it never got stuck on things. I personally would rather have the camera clip through my character when I'm close to a wall than get pummeled to death by enemies I can't see because they've backed me into a corner. Two thumbs and two hairy hobbit toes down...

THE GOOD:
You get to play as Buffy, Spike, Willow, Faith, Xander and Sid the Dummy. Lots of extras to unlock. Great graphics. Great Story and ending.

THE BAD:
Willow and Anya's voice doubles and the camera. Not enough save points.

SUMMARY:
Having played the first game, I was super excited to get this one. When I first started playing I was disappointed with the camera angles but after changing the inversions and putting them all on in options it wasn't too bad - still not as good as the first game but playable.

You get to play as different characters for different levels and they each have to accomplish a task before you move on to the next level. As you move through the game, you get to unlock some extras such as Voice over sessions and interviews with the stars from Buffy. These are a lot of fun to view and it is extra motivation to do better in the game. The better you do the more you...

Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Chaos bleeds has great game play as far as for smq, voice matching, and game play for combat.

THE BAD:
They could have add a mult. player adventure mode and a more than two buttom fighting engine.

SUMMARY:
It is a great game as for Buffy fan and for the newcomers. Even with Buffy's and Willow's voices the steal make it seen like all time favorite buffy show. Being that the game is based on the lost show on season 3, fix in kind of well. The game fighting is based off of the first one but is a little different too. First time play will learn more about the "first" and get to play with Faith, Buffy, Willow, Spike, Xander, Sid, and all kind of monsters. It's a fun game for you and your friend to sit and play for about 2 hour out of a day.
