THE BAD:
Realistic, but annoyingly slow and sluggish. The horrible speed, accelaration and the manouverability of the combat boats, coupled with the fact that they can't fly (I'm being serious here) leaves for a rather unsatisfying experience.
SUMMARY:
Blood Wake is an X-Box exlusive game, so therefore you'd expect it to be pretty good. And it is. Its like the popular Rogue Squadron games, but on water. Its a good idea and it comes across very well.
One thing that impressed me about Blood Wake is that it doesn't let you down. The ads all show powerboat's with guns, so you'd imagine that it involves driving around a lake in a boat shooting at things. And it does this, unlike most adverts.

The bad is that the story line is stupid. There isnt really a good story line but there is action so that is good. There is a little too much action at one point in the game especially late in the act 2 you have to go to the Jade Base and blow up these freighters. Well you have these land guns blowing your fricken head off. They have like rocket launchers that are about to put a hole in your boat half the size of your boat.
