THE BAD:
Lack of enemies, graphics not quite up to scratch and weapons a little under powered.
SUMMARY:
All in all Area 51 is a good game but not quite great. The story begins with you, Ethan Cole and hazmat team bravo being called in to rescue hazmat team delta and figure out what's going on, but soon your team gets picked off one by one and you're all alone. It's a straight forward FPS that's linear in design with a shoot to kill mentality and doesen't try to be anything else.
The weapons are a bit disapointing and under powered. You start with the m-11 "scorpion" pistol and soon grab the xm-32 "viper" assault rifle. Then as you progress through the game you will pick up the usual FPS arsenal - m-170 "hammer" combat shotgun, sr-125 "wraith" special purpose rifle (sniper), m-25 frag grenade and the an/peq-61 "quickfix"...
THE BAD:
The only notable negative would be the amount of weapons you have to select from(8). That number includes 2 different types of grenades as well.
SUMMARY:
With all the conspiracies and secrets this game contains, it earns your money like only a few select titles have. There are plenty of extras that will supply you with great entertainment for quite a while. These are your weapons: pistol(accurate and good for headshots, 8-round...
THE BAD:
well im not too far into the game yet but so far ive been relying on my SMP alittle too much and i havent found the shotgun yet, the graphics could be alittle bit better during certain parts, and maybe a few more things i cant point out yet.
SUMMARY:
Well so far i love the game, i just wish i could find the friggin shotgun
David Duchovny does a good job narrating the main character. Havent seen Edgar yet so i dont know how Manson is doing with the part. and i havent played on XBL cuz i havent had time to play on live, so far...
