Championship Manager 01/02 was the 10th anniversary edition of the award winning record breaking CM series. Being the final game in the CM 3 series, CM 01/02 was under pressure to ultimately fulfill CM 3's potential once and for all before Sport Interactive can set their sights on CM 4's long awaited release. The fact that the game to this date even is considered to be one of the best and many CM player's favorite game in the entire CM series suggest CM 01/02 managed to bring a positive end to the CM 3 series.
