SUMMARY:
Two Worlds is a game with bags of potential yet it fails to deliver. This is South Peak's answer to the Elder Scrolls series however it's hardly the answer gamers are looking for. At first it'll seem a average buy but sooner or later it's going to come back to haunt you. And you will regret it.

From the very start you can see Two World's faults. The voice acting is enough to make you cringe and it is all out of sync. You also notice how technologically behind the graphics are. It looks like it's more suited to a Nintendo 64 then an Xbox 360. It's a real shame as Two World's environment is huge and it's disappointing to see ho much of it has gone to waste. Once you begin playing enough flaw hits you. And this one is huge. The low frame rate. It is painfully slow and choppy and you'll be left wondering why you even bothered to spend £40 on it.

There's also a lack of customization. You can choose what your hero looks like (although this is very limited) but no races like in the Elder Scrolls which is a massive blow to Two Worlds.

It'd be unfair to critcize Two World's too much as it does have the odd positive point. Like stated earlier, the environment is huge, from forests to cities. It has also included a large amount of swords and armor, which are very nice to look at.

Two Worlds quests can be fun yet rather hard aswell. Unlike Oblivion where it was more the players skill rather than their level, Two Worlds focuses on the levels. If you aren't high enough then the quests are next to impossible which is a shame seeing as most players won't have the patience nor the sanity levels to continue playing the game long enough to reach the desired level.

Like they say, save the best until last and for RPG fans this is quite intersting news and could be one of the few reasons you decide to purchase Two Worlds. South Peak have included a multiplayer feature where you can battle it out against other on Xbox Live. It's a lot of fun however, it is only staged in an arena. The multiplayer is fun but there aren't many who play Two Worlds so it can get very quiet.

Sadly though, Two Worlds is a disastrously bad game. It means well but maybe it's time for the developers to find a new job. Somewhere far away from the gaming industry. It's fun for the first two hours but after that it's painful to play.
