Kinect was recently released for the holidays, and there were several opening games. Kinect Adventures, Kinect Sports, Kinect Joy Ride, Dance Central, and a few others were released with the Kinect, all aimed at casual audiences. And unfortunately (at least for some of us), Kinectimals is aimed at younger audiences. However, it is a great game for new Kinect users.
A Kinect Menu The game opens with the Kinect screens then goes past the Microsoft logo and a Frontier logo with a Bengal on the globe. We watch the several-minute long intro (you can't skip it). It shows the cast of the game playing before spotting a flying plane. They meet up other cats until the entire gang is racing the landing plane. After landing, we go to the main menu. The controls are simple and surprisingly fun. Moving your hand(s) moves a ghost-like hand(s) across the screen. It took me a minute to get used to it. It shows off the main way to select menus in Kinect games. Then the actual game started.
