Developer Lionhead is promising over 100 hours of gameplay for determined players who want to experience all that Fable II has to offer. Completing the main quest itself will requires less than a third of that time commitment.
The world of Albion is approx. ten times the size of the world for the first title.
Accessible locations in the game can potentially become property of the player; ambitious players can claim lordship over villages, towns, or even the land if they can amass enough property.
Fable II runs away with the relationship system featured in the first game by introducing adultery, divorce, polygamy and even sexually transmitted diseases.
Divorce with a spouse will actually cause the player to lose half of his belongings; in a streak of dark humor, game designer Peter Molyneux noted it may prove less "costly" for the player to murder an unwanted spouse instead.
