Background

The stage for the Black Ops sequel is set in the year 2025 amidst an escalating cold war between the US and China. America's defense network is compromised by a hacker attack, and suddenly the country is besieged by its own army drones that have fallen under the control of the mysterious Menedez.

As David Mason, son of the hero from the first Black Ops title, you must fend off the threat of robotic walkers and remote controlled aircraft as you uncover the truth behind Menedez.

Game Play

Your performance and choices made during missions will have an effect in the overall branching single-player storyline. The campaign will feature new "Strike Force" scenarios featuring RTS (real-time strategy) elements where you can control both human and robotic units in "sandbox" battlefields.

And yes, there will be a zombie survival mode.
