THE GOOD:
+ Great first party games There are plenty of good games out there which are easy to find if you ask around on forums or read reviews but they are often shadowed by the shovelware. Keep reading for what I think are great games. + Innovative Controller Motion control was a great move and definitely attracted more customers. Now it's being mimicked by Sony and Microsoft with the wand and Project Natal, respectively. + Backwards Compatibility The Wii can play all GameCube games and long forgotten titles from old consoles such as the NES and Commodore 64 via the Virtual Console + WiiWare Great idea supported by various small developers looking for a way to dispense titles without finding a publisher or worrying about all the unnecessary costs + Wii Channels Provide additional content for no charge or quick access to purchased WiiWare...

THE BAD: SUMMARY: Nintendo Wii ![]() The Wii is a revolution of a console. When I first got my Wii, about a year after release, I was amazed at what it could all do. Backwards Compatibility is neat, you can play all of your Gamecube games it. You simply plug the controllers into the top, and the memory cards go right behind them. The Wii remote, or Wiimote as it is often called, can detect motion in all directions! You can swing it, twist it, tilt it, and pretty much anything else you can think of. It can do it all. It can be a sword, a steering wheel, even a bowling ball! It brings you deeper into the game than you had ever thought possible. The Wii remote also has a smaller...
THE GOOD:
- Backwards compatibility. - The innovative controls. - Classic games, old and new. - The virtual Console. - The Price. THE BAD: SUMMARY:
The first notable achievement about the wii is how versatile it is when it comes to olfer games. It can play all the GameCube titles you knew and loved, no memory card needed. It's all contained on an inner Hard Drive.
Ok so what we all know and have known since the announcement of the Wii is it's ground breaking control system. It consists of the usual A, X, B, Y, Start/select, 1 and 2 buttons on the left side of the controller. Then on the right, we have the analogue stick and the C button, also known as the Nunchuck. They're connected by a wire which disconnects from the original controller piece. Each one fits...
