LKS@Neo is back with another entry ready and set to give you more information about XSEED Games' Little King's Story for the Nintendo Wii. This go-around we'll be going over some of the job classes you'll first encounter in your first days as the soverign of the Kingdom of Alpoko.

At first, your kingdom is solely populated by the hapless Carefree Adult. They're pretty lazy, and they would rather be lounging around than actually working. Catch them on a good day, and you can even see them taking a nap around town. Their skillset pretty much limits them to digging with their barehands; being so useless that they don't carry tools, they can't do much else.

What's a king to do with such useless subjects? Force them into employment, that's what.

One of the first jobs you can make your Carefree Adults into is the Hardworking Farmer. But before you can force your adults into field labor for free, you're going to need to build a Farmhouse in your kingdom first.

The Hardworking Farmer's main speciality is Excavation. They dig holes at triple speed, and are the only ones who can dig into small cracks. Once these small cracks are made larger by farmers, then other jobs can get in on the digging action. If they're the ones digging, they'll find better treasures in the ground than say a Carefree Adult, but the Farmers are the only ones who can uncover health-restoring hot springs.

The other thing you can do in your small kingdom is to force your citizens into military service. By sending Carefree Adults into a Guard Hut, you can turn them into Grunt Soldiers at no cost.

The Grunt Soldier has no real speciality, but they can fight pretty well. They take the fight to heart, even to the point of clinging onto their enemies to take them down. Unfortunately, they're as dumb as a rock, so they can't do much else. I guess that's what it means to be a grunt.

This is only a small sampling of the jobs that the game has to offer, because you can't take over the world with only farmers and soldiers.

What, did you think we were one and done with LKS@Neo? Not a chance. You got your introduction to Little King's Story @ Neoseeker, but we're nowhere close to raising the white flag.

Like any great king, Corobo can't do it alone. His top advisors in Alpoko Kingdom weigh in with their views and ideas and help Corobo keep on conquering.

He's the Little King. Corobo Bred is his name, conquering the world is his game. Once just a timid lad, he happens across a mysterious and powerful crown that makes people follow his orders, and promptly becomes the king of Alpoko. He also has quite the way with the ladies. I think it's because of his boyish looks; the ladies can't resist them.

Howser Oreganostein is a bull knight. He and his trusty steed Pancho have been searching for a true king for upwards of 35 years. Once he happens across the crown-ified Corobo, he sees the potential in the little king. Howser's endless ambition and helpful advice is the major proponent of Corobo's initial drive to world domination.

One of Corobo's friends, Liam Rice is the Little King's self-appointed Anything Minister that will handle everything and anything. He's pretty arrogant and lazy, though, and doesn't really give a good first impression.

Verde Sous is another one of Corobo's friends that self-appoints herself as Alpoko's Records Minister. She's pretty uptight, rude, arrogant, and condescending, who gets even more so when Corobo starts macking it up with the lady princesses out there. I think she's jealous.

Known for his mind and impossible wealth of knowledge and information, Skinny Ray is an old man on a bike looking like he's awesome. His knowledge is surprising yet valuable, although he's pretty redundant and repeats things alot.

Oh hey, a group shot-

Wait, who's missing?

This is LKS@Neo: Little King's Story @ Neoseeker, a small little campaign to build the hype for and promote XSEED Games/Marvelous Entertainment/Rising Star Games' kingdom-building RTS/sim Little King's Story for the Wii. Co-developed by CiNG (Trace Memory, Hotel Dusk) and Town Factory, Little King's Story puts you in the shoes of the young Corobo Bred, who finds a mysterious crown that grants him the power to charm people and have them follow his commands.

Corobo isn't exactly the strongest tool in the shed, but hey, he's a king! Why not have your loyal, faithful followers fight for you? Think of it sort of like Pikmin, except with people, and not weird little animal/plant things.

Unlike Pikmin though, these guys have lives. They live, they breathe, and need some care from the ruler of the kingdom. But they'll listen to you and give it their all. Don't forget your daily upkeep of the kingdom, because a growing empire needs money too. It's got needs.

That magical crown makes him Corobo king of his dinky little village, but true kings have aspiration for more global conquest. His little burg Alpoko needs to grow, baby.

There is a big, big world to explore, and exotic kingdoms that needs to be fought. Each kingdom has its own theme, and their own strengths and weaknesses. So do your citizens, especially when they start training up to be some sort of specialized job, including Soldier, Hunters, Farmers, and the like.

Conquer a kingdom, and you earn the kingdom's lands, the vast riches, and the hand of the kingdom's princess, ready and waiting to ride off into the sunset with our little player.
