BackgroundIf life were an endless vacation, what would you do? Go fishing, collect shells or watch fireworks with friends? Build a snowman, exchange presents with family or decorate your house for the holidays? Take a trip to the city, go on a shopping spree or visit friends from all over the globe? In Animal Crossing: City Folk, life moves at a relaxed pace, but the world brims with endless possibilities.GameplayThe primary new addition to City Folk is a new city area. Accessible to players by bus (driven by Kapp'n), the city offers a variety of activities. In the city, players can shop for clothes, accessories, and expensive furniture at Gracie Grace, a fashion boutique shop, and can redo their hairstyles or get a complete makeover at Harriet’s beauty salon. Players can even choose to replace their face with that of their Mii’s. Other activities available at the city take advantage of the Wii’s Wi-Fi capabilities, such as an auction house, where players can auction off items to other players via Wi-Fi connection, an office for the Happy Room Academy, where players can see how well other players’ towns are progressing, and a theater to learn emotions. Other changes and additions to gameplay include the reintroduction of several real world holidays. There will be also downloadable content available as a free service. New furniture and items will be released periodically.Features
