Final Fantasy III

THE BAD:
some how I just don't see what was so amazing about the plot and on top of that the sheer number of characters was annoying, despite what people say some of them were just crummy characters.

SUMMARY:
heres a game about the reign of the magitech empire who aquired their "magic" from the mysterious espers. Now manny people reckon this to be the best RPG ever. I think that it can't touch 7 but hey. all and all this was a very organized production flawless in how it was put together, the only problems you could find with it are subjective ones and you may very well find some. one flaw worth mentioning is the soap oprah quality some of the emotional scenes could take on (but thats just subjective). and one strength is the level of organization and detail.

THE BAD:
-If you are really too used to the new stuff you might not like it
-Random battle system can turn quite difficult and anoying from time to time

SUMMARY:
1,000 after the war of Magi, the world that had been left a decimated wasteland, has seen the rebirth of culture, civilization, industry and also... the festering of old battles, as the old Empire now seeks to obtain control over the ultimate destructive power that had been seal ages ago, magic, with which they can brought the world to its knees, but unseal what had been long forgotten might be a terrible mistake that might bring forth total anihilation.

This is the tale of Terra, a mysterious young girl, borned with the gift of magic, controled by the empire and deprived of her memory, which seeks to uncover her true past and stop the evil empire along with her comrades in order to save the world from the same destructive power that burned it down to ashes a mileania ago, on a fight for justice, balance and freedom.

This game was released originally over a decade ago, for the Snes, and re-launched again for the PSX years after, this was the last Final Fantasy game that should appear for a Nintendo consoloe on a long time, as it market the end of an Era and the prelude to another, the battle system, althought considered primitive in comparison to the that of the new releases is still one of the most peculiar ones ever, as it includes chargue up atacks, combos along with many other things, not to say the enourmous variety of atacks, spells, summons and items avaible, the skill inheritance system is also one of the most easy ones to learn and less difficult to master without being considered "simple" and the variety of items that can be equiped to each character is very hard, the game contains more than a dozen playable characters, each one with a story to tell, as each one of them have a great background with makes this game´s story a masterpiece, not to say that the main plot itself is something magnificent, as the game also counts with countless places and scenarios to see, around nearly 60 hours of gameplay.

This is considered by the fans as one of the most important Final Fantasy games ever, it has a lot of significance along old school RPG players, and on my personal opinions, can be taken as one of the best RPG´s ever made.
