Background

Sequel to Wonder Boy, and prequel to Wonder Boy III: Dragon's Lair, Wonder Boy in Monster World features the action we all know from the previous Wonder Boy, which originally hit Arcades in 1986. This time around, Monster World used to be a peaceful region. But, the ghouls are back, and twice as fast because your life depends on your quickness! Your health meter controls the pace you are going, and it also of course means how close you are to death.
