Background

Metro City is a very well-known crime capital. This is the base of a violent gang called the Mad Gear. But there is one problem: the newly-elected mayor, Mike Haggar. He promised to clean up Metro City and restore it to its former glory. The Mad Gear, for having a grip on him, decide to kidnap Jessica, Haggar's daughter and threaten to kill her. But Haggar isn't a simple citizen who can be frightened by a gang. So, with a ninja friend named Guy and Jessica's boyfriend, Cody, he's carrying out his plan of cleaning Metro City by beating on the streets the Mad Gear...
