As the story goes, a princess had so many pets things were getting out of control. Therefore, the king and his advisor decided to hold a contest to find the greatest zookeeper in the world. In Baku Baku you can play as either Polly or Gon and attempt to win the contest. When animals and food drop from the top of the screen, line up the animals with the food they eat. A correct match removes the animal and food from the screen. In Arcade mode players are matched against various opponents while trying to win the contest. Other modes include versus and ranking. There is also a hall of fame for the top scores and three difficulty levels.
