THE GOOD: If u like a great challenge and r into strategic games then this game is for u...and u also learn a little history lesson with it.
THE BAD: ah yes...there is a drawback to this game and all the other rotk games...the graphics...
SUMMARY: this is a game where you have to ahve patience to play. you wont be able to understand this game right off the bat but once you get to playin it you cannot stop and i promise you that! overall this is one of the best strategic games ever made in my humble opinion. You also have many choices as to what you can do in this game. start rumors, recruit generals ect. ect. this is definetly a game you will not get bored with. it osmore of a game where you will be playing it and then you look at the clock and realize that it is three o' clock in the morning! So yes it can be complicated but it is a great game!

THE GOOD: The wars, duels, items, generals and gameplay.
THE BAD: Difficulty of the barbarians, losing a barbarian city, uprages of officers (I had to fight four times to win Di and Qiang) , little troops and having to choose only 4 leaders ( I choose Wu, Wei, Shu and the purple flag team)
SUMMARY: Though very difficult, I'd rather play this game than Chrono Cross. I'd give this game a 94 out of hundred.
SUMMARY: After playing all of the other RTK games (save V), I have found another successful sequel to this genre that continues to facinate and excite me almost 10 years since I picked up RTK2. After reading some reviews I was under the impress that KOEI had finally produced a dud, and that RTKVI was not worth my time. I am SO VERY glad that I didn't listen to the "pros" and gave this game a shot. I think the main failure of the "pros" when rating this game was not giving credence to the AMAZING ability of this game to adict you in a way that no other has. It doesn't have to depend on cheap graphics, it has an advanced gameplay and control that really does let you feel that you are in control of every aspect of your warlord. While, I would agree that the graphics are not the best I have ever seen in a sim game, I would as easily argue that their simplicity is part of the magic of this and other RTK games. You don't have long load times due to graphics, and they don't distract to what the goal of this game was, to make you feel like a ruler.
