THE GOOD: The good side, you can ply with two different heroes.And,3-D monster modelling and magic options are excellent. Also, you can play at fabulous stages-such as Underground Ruins or Mel's Atelier.
THE BAD: Well, there isn't anything bad mood at this game,I think. But,sometimes game becomes so difficult-so,that's the only bad think at this game.
SUMMARY: At Threads of Fate, you can play with two different characters that both two wanting to get Aeon Valen's[Relic]:
One of these is Rue:A mysterious boy that who can transform into monsters that he defeat.Nobody knows where is he from, where he come from and what are he going to do-even himself. He only wants one thing:revive a girl named Claire.Because of this,he wants [Relic].
The other is Mint:A spunky girl who is the eldest princess of East Heaven Kİngdom. She wants [Relic] too, because she wants the throne of East Heaven Kingdom, and she wants to rule the world-yes,she wants...
THE GOOD: Easy gameplay and engaging characters help make this the perfect game to play while winding down. While hardly complex compared to other RPGs and being more of a comedy that an action game, Threads of Fate doesn't suffer despite it's relatively light plotline. And one couldn't help but like the game's two main characters: Rue, the mysterious boy with a painful and tragic past, and Mint, the spoiled-brat princess on a quest for revenge and world-domination. As the game progresses and you watch them grow in character, you can't help but fall in love.
THE BAD: The graphics were not up to Square's usual standard. While it wasn't bad exactly, neither was it good. The characters were all done up in a cute, superdeformed style that might have worked except that everything was so blocky. The music was also repetitive and, while it sounded fine at first, could get annoying after extended periods of time.
THE GOOD: The two differant stories, and all the quests that you do.
THE BAD: A little to long at times.
SUMMARY: I want to say first that I love this game. It's alot of fun and has alot to it.I do also want to say that I think that this game should be rated teen because of the langguge and the violence.I do suggest that little kids don't play it cause it has a deep story.
anyway to the other parts,The two main charaters are Rue a tresure hunter, and mint a magic user that wants to get her kingdom back.
When you play as Rue he has a special abblite, when you deffeat a monster some times they drop a coin, when you get the coin you can transform into that monster.there are alot of areas that you can't get past with out turning into a monster.
then there is mint,She uses magic. She uses alot of MP but Mp come around in the game,so she is a good player to use but is kinda hard to use at first because of all places that have low MP...
Huzzah. This game has it all: it's fun, it has likeable character, has good music, and clean graphics. It's a little short, though... and since Mel's Atelier is so damn annoying... I've played tons of RPGs, but... nothing's as annoying as that place... >_<
But, yeah. If you see it, buy it, or else you suck. Unless you already have it, in which case you're excused.
THE BAD: I think that the end, a.k.a. Valen's fortress, was a little too long. Maybe you could shorten it to just 3 Arenas?
SUMMARY: Very cool game. If there was a Threads of Fate 2, I would totally buy it! My favorite part of the game was Fancy Mel's atelier. The animals were cute. I absolutely loved the music and graphics. Blah Blah Blah and all of that other stuff. My favorite characters were Mint, Belle, and Elena.
The village of Carona was a quiet trading post of a town. The small population lived peacefully within the happy little city. There was little to do here, but one citizen was very busy. Dr. Klaus (No, he's not a bad guy) was the local archeologist who explored the many ruins surrounding the town for Relics, magical items capable of incredible feats, but he had very little to show for all of his work. Life in Carona was peaceful, revolving around the boats that would come and go, until fate itself seemed to bring a pair of Relic-seeking adventurers from the opposite ends of life together…
Rue was content. He led a simple life of hunting and farming in the wilderness, living with Claire, the girl he was devoted to. After finding him alone in the woods, she rescued and cared for him, and Rue was finally able to rest, no longer haunted by the phantoms of his past. And then, on a cold night after a snowstorm, Rue's life changed. A bizarre man with an enormous hand...
THE GOOD: well the story was classic and the charcters where just the part
THE BAD: well the game could have been a little bit longer
SUMMARY: the game over all it a must get game if you like squaresoft RPG's which i'm sure you do becsause your reading this
overall the game had a very clever story with them all looking for the dew prism and that was rues desteny and all but he can't remember it and all that mint was to be queen so she trys to steal it bla bla bla well if you want another great game by square buy this one its only a tenner
THE GOOD: It got all my friends jelous because i'm the only one with a game system! It was really well done with the charicter personalities and clothing, and the storyline rocked
THE BAD: it was good, but it was short and the music got annoying sometimes
SUMMARY: I had tons of fun with it and it was sooooo sad about rue's story, but mint's still me girl!!! they really should make a sequel to this game, and i think that this game was the best i have ever played!
THE GOOD: I had so much fun playing threads of fate and I didn't want it to end...Mint's quest or Rue's. My friend and I thought Rue was soooooooo cute! Tee-hee!
THE BAD: Um... Fancy Mel was kinda annoying and so were Duke and Belle. And, I was so mad when they wouldn't tell us what kind of past Mint and Belle had.
SUMMARY: All in all, the game was awesome. I was kind of mad when Rue found Ruenis and there was no sequal(hope I spelled that correctly)......I think we all were. Oh, and Rucian should have realized that will defeated duty much faster.
