The gameplay finally became faster. Tekken 1 and 2's gameplay was a little too slow.
Tekken Ball Mode
Gon and Dr. B
THE BAD: Well after playing Tekken Tag Tournament and Tekken 4 this game ain't as good because those games had more moves and better graphics.
Tekken Ball Mode was a little lacking.
SUMMARY: Difficulty: Easy
This is my favorite game for the Playstation 1. This is the only Tekken game on the Playstation I actually like but I like the Playstation 2 Tekken games more. If you already have Tekken Tag Tournament and Tekken 4 then I suggest you buy this game if you don't own it already. This is also one of the most popular fighting games on the Playstation 1. Sometimes I go back to play this game just for memories because this is the game that got me into the Tekken series.
THE GOOD: Tons of characters Plenty of moves and combos per character Extra modes
THE BAD: Learning all the attacks for characters was hard
SUMMARY: Tekken 3 was the third game in the fighting series. There is a storyline to go along with it but to be quite frank I don't know what it is and I didn't really care much for it. I was more concerned with how good this game was and how much I played it.
As usual this is a one on one fighting game like Street Fighter games. There are plenty of characters to choose from as well as several that need to be unlocked. Unlike some games where certain moves repeat themselves with many characters, in this game pretty much every character was individual and had defining attacks unique to themselves. Every character has 2 costumes and some characters had a third costume, which usually required you to play a certain mode several times.
There were other modes to play as well as just one on...
THE GOOD: It's the game that comes after Tekken 2. Actually there are only a few characters that are from the other Tekken game so basically the rest are just new characters, maps, music, graphics, etc.
THE BAD: Sometimes it doesn't want to respond when popped in a Playstation2 because it contains sound tracks that are readable in a stereo. There is no problem with the PlayStation (PSX) console.
SUMMARY: After the tragedy of Tekken 2 (I'll say it wasn't a good game)--the developers of Tekken have decided to release a new and better game called Tekken 3. Tekken 3 is an awesome game. When I first saw it in the market, I thought it was going to suck! But, boy was I wrong. After many reviews, friends talking about this game and even my favorite magazine published a really good review about this game gave me an idea--renting the game and check how great it is. I went to the nearest Blockbuster rental store, got in a big argument with the clerk and...
THE GOOD: Everything. The graphics, gameplay all brilliant
THE BAD: you're having a laugh. Pure perfection.
SUMMARY: 6 years ago, Namco brought out Tekken 3, the long awaited sequel to T1 and 2. It had a lot to live up to with it's predecessors being terrific. But, boy did it live up to it. I bought this game just two years ago but even though it was 4 years old, it blew me away. It was a game made ages before it's time. So, into the game.
Modes: It has every angle. Straight down the line fighting (arcade), side scrolling adventure (tekken force), and outright fun (tekken ball). Not forgetting VS mode, team battle and practice mode.
Graphics: Terrific. from xiaoyu's school uniform to Jin's flame trousers to eddy's paradise stage, it was all great. Sometimes you think your playing a PS2 game, just for an odd second!
Gameplay: Great. The fights just draw you in and you'll soon be off your seat
THE GOOD: The graphics are improved drastically, there are cooler characters to pick like Jin for instance,
THE BAD: The game gets boring when you complete everything, thats probably about it.
SUMMARY: Man this game totally rocks!!!! It was this game that got me into the Tekken craze. The graphics are so realistic, obviously room for improvement though. The gameplay can entertain you for a while, but when you finish the game, yep you guessed right, it gets boring.
If you don't have this game, you're chances of getting it are most likely as good as gone.. Though you might be lucky enough to get a used one. =P
Overall I recommend this game you play this game. Two thumbs up!
Be cautious that its sequels are better than this game, so you can go give them a shot.
SUMMARY: THE GOOD:
There are plenty of great fighters, all with great clothing and moves. The music, graphix and gameplay are also great.
THE BAD:
I love this game, I couldn't find a single negavtive point about it.
SUMMARY:
This is with out a doubt one of the best fighting games on playstation today. The graphix is brilliant and very detailed and the music is just total awesome. When you complete the arcade mode each fight has a video which is then unlocked for veiwing these videos have cracking graphix.
I like the move setup and how you have to do combos, this is such an easy game to use and learn how to do special moves.
I would certainly recomend this game to anyone who like fighting games, as this is one of best i've played on the playstation.
thanks for reading my reveiw

THE GOOD: Excellent gameplay, extensive move lists, challenging, large selection of characters, detailed levels.
THE BAD: I hate saying this for a review, but I can't really think of any. If you enjoy fighting games, you will like this one.
SUMMARY: I absolutely love Tekken 3. It is perhaps one of the best fighting games ever. Each character has so many moves it would be impossible to pull all of them off in a single match. And it is very easy to perform different moves as the controls are near perfect. All of the characters are unique so there is plenty of variety to choose from. There are around twenty playable characters, about half of them which need to be unlocked. Once you feel you have mastered a character through the practice mode, feel free to try and play on the hardest difficulty. Even with your best character it proves to be a challenge. And besides all of the extra characters to unlock, there are even extra outfits and stages to...
A brutal beat-em-up game, true Tekken style. It is already platinum, so you shouldn't think twice about getting this game. It is excellent in every respect, except for mediocre graphics and a biiiiit repetitive.
The game includes many modes and characters, each with a unique fighting style (karate, kung fu, breakdancing etc... hehehe)
Fans of the Tekken series - this is a must have. Even though it is very old, it is still a great game.
