SUMMARY:
This game simply, is absolutley incredible!! I am normally slightly sceptical of this style of game, but this is absolutley awesome. You take control of Agent Gabe Logan who has to prevent a global bio-warfare massacre through reconnanssance stealth, and extreme combat. There are 20 levels in total, each of them getting progressively harder and harder as the game goes on. Now, I normally find this style of game particularly easy, but definitely not this one, this game is very tricky and taxing. You have to you use your own intelligence and puzzle working skills in order to progress on to the next levels. The graphics and gameplay are stunning, with four targeting types and both 1st and 3rd person view points. Each level is highly playable and not at all boring or too easy, some levels...

THE GOOD:
- The weapons were great, and the variety of weapons.

- The graphics were good for the playstation, I can't say they were outstanding because they all weren't that good.

- The sound was ok, nothing special.

I was actually very surprised with this game. I had pretty much sold myself that it was going to be a cheap Metal Gear Solid ripoff. When I finally did try it for myself I found it to be very fun. All the levels are very unique and you'll want to play several of them over and over again. There are tons of sweet weapons to use although cycling through your weapon inventory in-game takes a while and leaves you very vulnerable. Your arsenal ranges from a silenced 9mm to an M16 to a nightvision sniper rifle to the almighty taser. There are several other weapons as well and you'll be putting them to good use as this game does present you with a decent challenge. The beginning levels are pretty easy as you become used to the controls...

This game rocks!It has great graphics and weapons.It has secret agents gone bad.You go on top secret missions and everything.You soot a whole mess of bad guys and a whole mess of blood comes out of them to.

THE BAD:
Nothing in this game was bad.Well it was kind of hard and that's it.

I recommend for everyone to buy this game..This game really rocks with graphics and specialy gameplay the most.

Well, I hav'nt played the game since it was release so I can't really get to much into the game without going back and playing it. From what I remember it took me 2 days to beat the game, But don't let this stop you from getting it. This is the first Syphon Filter out of a total of three in the series to date. I must say that the game was really fun to plau and the small ingame cinimatics were a great addition to the storyline. When playing the game you will have a great selection of weapons to kill your enemies with. I think that if you are looking for a good action game for you playstation or even playstation 2 (since you can play PSx games on it) then this is a title you should consider getting.
