Before there was the skateboarding giant, Tony Hawk, there were few skateboarding games for Playstation, all of which were trying to make a name for themselves. The most popular of all of those was Street Sk8er. Being able to play from one of many skaters including a monkey and even a ninja. The tracks were plentiful and there were even competitions. Was it the trick count? No, there were plenty of tricks for each skater. It was the way you pull off the tricks. In Street Sk8er you just jumped off of the ramp and the game did the tricks for you, where in Tony Hawk, you could choose from the many tricks at any time that you wanted.
