Even though I usually prefer newer games this is my favorite Street Fighter game but like I said earlier Shin Akuma is too hard to beat. He bumps up the difficulty of this game alone. I haven't even beaten him in World Tour mode yet. It get's frusterating. For those of you who don't know Shin Akuma is a more powerful version of Akuma. Remember Hugo from Street Fighter 3: Third Strike? Well he's in this game but not as a playable character. In of the the levels he can be seen in the background. Speacking of that the unlockable characters are Evil Ryu, Guile and Shin Akuma.

If you've liked any Street Fighter game you've played then this might be a game you are looking for. If...

THE GOOD:
New characters,effects and character moves are interesting and great.Also,new modes are playable.

THE BAD:
If you selected a good character,you will see sometimes defeating M.Bison is so hard,but that's all.

SUMMARY:
There are new modes,such as Final Battle mode or World Tour mode.Also,new characters appears in game,such as Karin,Juli and Dan.The playing system is great.

And you will see there are characters from Final Fight:Cody,Guy,Sodom and Rolento.These are playable,too.

At last,you will see three bosses:M.Bison(for good chatacters),Ryu(for Shadaloo members and bad characters) and Shin Akuma(for Evil Ryu).

Also,secret characters are avaible:Evil Ryu,Shin Akuma,Super Cody,Evil Ken and Guile.

You can improve yourself by playing this game.Enjoy it!

THE GOOD:
Large selection of figheters,good controls,replay value,world tour mode

SUMMARY:
This game is fantastic.It surpasses any other 2d fighting game ever made. all of your favorite fighters are in this game,along with some new ones. there are many modes that will keep you playing for hours on end. the survival mode where you can choose from a variety of modes,and the world tour mode where you can build up your fighter and enhance them to make them stronger. The graphics are very good,and the fighters in the game are very well deatalied. there are isms this time:A,X,and V ism.V-ism is the fan favortie custom combo to string up comobos,a-ism is your standard gauge for lvl1,2,or3 supers. and the X-ism is the strong guage,where the determined button unleashes a super move.the trademark moves for each charaters have gone untouched,and a few new ones added in.don't let this game pass you by!

THE GOOD:
best of the series,lots of characters,almost all of the SF characters is in it,fast,colourful,good graphics

THE BAD:
may take you ages before you've unlocked everything, some characters are too chunky.

SUMMARY:
Best 2D street fighter yet, lots more new characters, including some from the old action game Final Fight (remember that game)and some from the old street fighter series. As you know, street fighter can't be street fighter without Ryu and Ken.
Some other characters include: Adon,Akuma,Cammy,Chun-Li,Dan,Evil Ryu,Guy and M. Bison. altogether there are a total of about 35 characters.

THE GOOD:
Its like they put every SF, put together!!!

THE BAD:
controls are very different and harder:
Guards are limited gauges, Alpha counters are very hard to do and the increase of the super gauge depends on which ism you use

SUMMARY:
Graphics: not much to say.........just the same thing.....just different colors change, you gotta support that at least....

fun factor: Very good Fighting SF Ive ever seen on the PS, you wont feel bad playing it
