THE GOOD: excelent graphics. Wonderful game play. Good voice acting.
THE BAD: quicky camera.
SUMMARY: I enjoyed many aspects of this game. The designers did an excellent job capturing the real feel of our friendly neighborhood Spider-Man. The web-swinging scenes were enjoyable, a very ingenious way to get from mission to mission. They also did the wall-crawling well; you really feel as if you're in the comic book and directing Spidy. The level design was, for the most part, fresh and different as the game progressed. It wasn't just the same old same old each time. They included some different kinds of puzzles to keep the game-play interesting. The visuals, for the most part, were great. They captured a very comic book feel. The music wasn't bad, and I have to give kudos for the use of a modernized version of the classic Spider-Man theme. The voice actors did a good job. The actor's hired did good impressions of the voices that appeared in the Spider-Man cartoon from the 90's. The game di...
THE GOOD: ~Cool Moves ~"Spidey Sense" ~Cool Bad Guys ~Graphics are ok
THE BAD: ~nothing that i can think of
SUMMARY: This is the first Spiderman game that i played and it really is awesome. You get to do a lot of cool moves, and Web moves are so awesome! You get to go to many levels and fight many cool bad guys.
There are many characters in the game that are helpful to you, like Black Cat. She is your guide through the first part of the game.
There are many different people in the game like Daredevil and the Punisher that will talk to you and give you some hints.
There are some really cool cut scenes, and many different costumes you can have in the special features, and many cool stuff in the Gallery.
I would reccomend this game to Spidey fans, it's very cool!
This is the best .... umm, umm, the best Marvel's comics hero in the world !!! I like the graphics, sounds, gameplay and many more. But the thing i like the most is the swinging part. It's cool !!! But the camera are really disturbing you if you don't know how to control it .....
THE GOOD: About everything, and finding the comic books gave you quick reference of our friendly neighborhood spider man. This is first super hero game in a long time and thank gawd it turned out excellent ( no one remebers spawn the eternal from psx hopefully)
THE BAD: Wish there were more techniques you could do with spidey like web slinging being more realistic instead of a bunch of swings make it one huge swing and at the end of it fire your web shooter at another building.the game would be incrediably hard but extremely realistic and closer to the every wall crawler.
SUMMARY: Bottom line only good for a rental or if you want to start collecting buy this one and spider-man two.
This game is extremely hard but fun. and was also similar to activisions bruce willis game.<_< cant remeber the title but how he gave snappy remarks to the characters and the game was also found in this game.
This game just leaves you wanting more.
Not a maximum carnage or seperation anxiety but still feeds th...
THE GOOD: almost everything!! the bosses, the levels, beating up badguys!!it's just great!
THE BAD: sometimes the camera is pretty annoying!! but i don't care!
SUMMARY: this game is just great!! if you love spiderman you HAVE to buy it!! it's like you ARE spiderman when you play it! and there are great costumes!! and the most important of all: it has MUCH MUCH replay value!!
SUMMARY: Hey, this game ain't half bad. I first got it as a recommendation from a friend, and I have enjoyed this game completely. The game concept is that you are Spiderman and you get to beat up the bad guys. The camera can lead to a couple of cheap deaths, but it doesn't detract from the game too much. There is some replay value by collect comics, and trying to get all of the costumes. I would recommend this game to Spidey fans and people looking for a good game.
THE GOOD: Alternate Costumes, New Web Combos, Storyline, and Villans.
THE BAD: Spidey's default costume does not have the detailed lines of web on it.
SUMMARY: For a PS1 title this game kicks! It's easy enough to play while still being challenging. You don't need to be a spidey fan to play this but it might just make you one(it made one out of me)! All of the best villins in spidey's world are in the game inclueding my fave, Venom! It's been out for a while now so it's pretty decentl priced. So if you don't belive me go out and rent it. After your first play you will be running out to buy it.
SUMMARY: Oh yeah! Spidy in his first video game! When I first rented this game for the N64.. I played it for 4 hours! No breaks! After a while, ive heard the PSX version was better... So i rented.. Played it.. and then bought it. The game has veeerrrrryyy explosive gameplay*, and it includes villians: Scorpion*, Rhino*, Venom*, Mysterio*, Carnage* and Doc Ock*! The controls are easy to learn*... And beating up a bad guy is a piece of cake*. The graphics are awesome in Mini-Movies* like in the "Venoms Threat"* FMV, and other FMVs they are cool. But somethings wrong.. It's weird. Whenever the characters talk in mini-movies or in just plain intermission sequences the characters don't move their lips. They move their arms. Only Venom and Carnage move their mouths. But YOU MUST Buy this game! They have a Dreamcast and GBC version too, so if those versions are better...
