RPG Maker

RPG Maker is here. A game desired for centuries (perhaps millenniums?) has finally arrived. I've seen one average thought on it, too, but that's Incite and they're all biased Final Fantasy VIII freaks. But otherwise, RPG Maker is confusing, primitive, but in the core of it all awesome.

Visuals
Yes...mmhmm...Some have completely bashed the visuals of this game, mainly because they ''don't look the FF7/8/9 whatever''. Some have bashed the visuals of this game for looking too primitive. I didn't understand that-they're supposed to be primitive (what did you expect, Metal Gear Solid 2 quality?!)-but then I saw it in action. For the generation the games you make are based on, I'm not very impressed. Environments are very Sega Genesis first generation-y, with not the best amount of detail in areas. Some things are just a little bit of light brown with some dark brown around it. Of course some building...

THE GOOD:

about everything, the battle system was like Draong warrior for the Nintendo..:laughs:....

This was a horride game and a waste of my 30 bucks...:laughs: when I bought this game I thought of FF4 or 6 battle system, but no they had to make it as a Dragon Warrior for the nes battle system, and for a psx game..wow that is odd, but I did like the fact of making your own rpg, but not at this quality, play the RPG for the PC and you will see the major differecne, hte thing I didnt like was the dungeons were crapply made, the towns were crapply made, no matter how you put them they will stll suck it up..., I just hope that RPG 2 for the PS2 are alot better than this crap that they call a game, the only reason it got a 2 was the only good thing about this game..look at top....

THE GOOD:
Creating your own game is difficult until, you can get the hang of the switches, take over stuff, etc. Let you ideas locked inside your mind fly out. (sorry if that sounds choppy.)

THE BAD:
Nothing really.

SUMMARY:
i'm a pro at designing and creating games with the rpg maker. I'm constantly expanding new ways to take the rpg maker further than it can go. I can create final fantasy world maps, have enemy confrontations appear in the open. Such as, i set a graphic of an elf, moving around. You touch the elf and you'll enter a set battle. Set the enemies in that battle, and change event graphic to nothing. move that event into an area where you are positive it won't return until move to another area and return to the previous "elf room". Dragon Warrior/final fantasy overworld is tricky. But, it will become easy. Make a dungeon full of land and water. I recommend designing as you proceed further into the...

Limited very limited it is very confusing

SUMMARY:
Good game and all but very confusing has no tutorial it should have one. But it is fun and you can be creative very creative eventhrogh I am not very good at the game I think it is a great game idea like most RPG fans you go wild for it thinking it will be easy but it is very very very confusing!

THE GOOD:
It's like creating your own wrestler, but on a much grander scale.

THE BAD:
It's hard to get started on creating something that is what you truly vision.

SUMMARY:
When I first heard about this game, I wanted to get. Now tht I have it, I'm dissapointed. I didn't think it would be easy to create your own game, but I figured it would be easier than this. It takes a detailed step-by-step walkthrough to truly get what you really want.

THE GOOD:

SUMMARY:
I wish they had more char designs because I am making a RPG but it doesn't have the kind of Chars. I want. and the anime maker sucks. But other than that the game rules!!!! The title screen thing is awesome! and the musics are cool too. This game is great for anyone with an imagination. If you don't well sucks for you.

THE GOOD:
This game is a great idea you can have fun making it and you can share the game data with a dex drive and play other peoples games~! lots of variatey.

THE BAD:
Sometimes it can be complicated but, still on agetecs part a good idea.

SUMMARY:
There are a variety of different monsters, sound effects, options, character graphics, and lots of building tools! Your imagination is your only limitation. Creat computers, cell phones, tvs and more be creative! Create an original rpg , or mabye your on game that means something to u ! Create and manage your ownwourld by editing it and testing it!Share games with peeople online with a dex drive! This game was a great idea and I think anyone would love this game but, if you are impatient mabye you should pass this up cuz it is a very long prosses!
