THE BAD:
The storyline wasn't as good as the Original Resident Evil. The controls are hard to understand for the first time. Short game, I beat it less than 1 hr. 30 mins. No Jill, Chris, Barry, Rebecca or Wesker in this game which makes the game not as good as the Original.

SUMMARY:
The game is good and all, but Resident evil 2 for the Playstaion is way better than the Dreamcast and the Nintendo 64 version. Both Dreamcast & Nintendo 64 are way easier than this Playstation version and the Dreamcast didn't make much money for the system itself. This one is harder to beat the game. I got scaried the first time and it's still scary as hell. The game graphics are way better than Resident Evil Survivor. Also for my opinion...Resident Evil 1 is better than this....

THE GOOD:
Alomost everything, the graphix has definatly been improved, the weapons rock and so does the story line.

THE BAD:
This game was pretty easy to complete, but other than that nothing else.

SUMMARY:
This game is the best resident evil I have played, the graphix is brilliant and when you kill zombies the blood and wounds look realistic and are very detailed.
This game has a good story line that was fairly easy to complete but I had a strategy guide so what do u expect. The weapons are also brilliant although even the most powerful don't seem to kill the bosses quick enough.
I would definatly recomend this game to anyone who likes horror and puzzle solving games. I would recomend that you buy a stratagy guide, if you are thinking of purchasing this game, I don't think I could have completed it without one.

THE GOOD:
Everything!

SUMMARY:
I love this game! I loved it since the first time I played it! It had evolved in so many ways from the original Resident Evil. I was relieved that Capcom did not use real-life scenes for this one. I also enjoyed the story line. In certain parts of the game, it can really scare the crap out of you! It is a game that I will never get tired of playing. If you haven't played this yet, I suggest you go and get it right now!

THE GOOD:
Almost everything. The game loads faster, the graphics are cool, the music gives a good ambientation, the storyline is better than in RE1, there are 2 characters to choose... EXCELLENT!

THE BAD:
Almost nothing. Oh well, the game is kinda easy once you mastered it... but it's no big problem.

SUMMARY:
Capcom did a very accurate shot with this game. In RE2, you can play as Claire Redfield (Chris'sister) or Leon Kennedy (a rookie cop on his first day). Each character has its own storyline, but after finishing the game with 1 character you must play with the other and the plot changes depending on the order you play.

The graphics are very good. The backgrounds are well-made 2D and the characters and monsters are 3D as in RE1. The music is good too, and it changes suddendly when something happens. Cool.

RE2 is also notorious for loading at a very higher speed than RE1 did. Also, there are new FMV sequences that are...

THE GOOD:
Great Storyline. Can play as two characters.

THE BAD:
Hard to understand movement at first.

SUMMARY:
The truly is a great game. I really loved it the first time I played it. You can pick from two diffrent character(a girl or boy) and go through the storyline so that diffrent things happen to you. So its only a complete game when you go through both ways making this game very fun. Also after you beat it you can play the advanced version with unlimited ammo. I really would recommend getting this game if you want to shoot so zombies.

And on the 8th day God made Resident Evil 2, never before has a game stood the test of time as well as this gem, theres something not quite right about Capcom, they pulled this off as one of the greatest and constantly let us down with crap like Code Veronica.; The graphics and game dynamics are extremely dated but there is still fun to be had in the back alleys of Racoon City. Leon is one of the coolest characters that I have ever seen it's a shame that they didn't use him in any of the sequels (same goes for Barry Burton despite his cameo in Resi 3). Whatever I said in this review ignore that & BUY THIS GAME NOW.

THE GOOD:
This game is DA stuff. But since I never played RE1 I can't give it a fair 5.0

THE BAD:
A little long... and it makes you huddle in your bed, with your handy magnum close by...

Challenging in every way, RE2 has so many differnet modes to choose from. It will also scare the crap outa ya...
