PSX  Resident Evil 3: Nemesis 5.0

THE GOOD:
Graphics
Sounds
Music
Gameplay
Enemies

THE BAD:
Puzzles to hard
Short

SUMMARY:
I really enjoy playing this game. It's like Resident Evil 2, but better because the gameplay has really changed like the 180 degree quick turn, sometimes push enemies if they're trying to get you, zombies movements they can walk slow or walk fast, and an unstoppable enemy named Nemesis.

The graphics are improved enough it looks realistic, better details than Resident Evil and Resident Evil 2.

The sounds improve itself because the zombies sounded scary and real, the explosion sounds way better, gunfires sounds real and awesome, and some sounds are original like the first game.

The music sounded scary now, but Resident Evil for the Gamecube sounded way scarier than this, the part where Nemesis shows up it scares me alot.

The puzzles are harder and slows you down and waste time. If you beginners never play this, it will take you like about 5 hours to beat this. They could've improve it better though.

The game is short, but hey it has alot of action into it and more fun. Resident Evil 2 may be shorter or longer than this game, but it's kinda boring with less action and i like it though because it creeps me out too.

This is one of my favorite Resident Evil games in the series because it has more excitement into it, it scares me alot, and more action into it. I rate this game a 4.8 out of 5. Thanks for reading my review.

THE GOOD:
everything that a RE game should have!

THE BAD:
nothing in general

SUMMARY:
this is definetely the best game in RE series, better than two previous games and definetely better than RE Code Veronica.
yeah, sure it looks kind of old and obsolete in terms of graphics and realism THESE days(RE Outbreak have way more realistic inventory),BUT it was definetely great for it's release date, and besides,it is so impressive in terms of "RE-style horror" and the gameplay is so exciting and cool even today, that obsolete graphics sure can be ignored.
this is definetely a MUST-BUY CLASSICS for any survival-horror fan.
I would say-one can't call him(her)self a true survival horror-games fan without beating this game.

in terms of scaring,it is the same as other RE games(meaning-it depends on sudden "explicit" horror, unlike Silent Hills' "progressive oppresing" horror),the game is non-linear(unlike other RE titles),there is plenty of replay value(in fact only completing it 7 times you'll see everything),difficulty is very decent on hard mode(or you can choose easy if you are a newbie),it has a possibility to create ammo for weapons by yourself(no other RE game has this),plenty of various weapons,enemies,...you got it.
fmvs are very good for the time this game was released, well, they are not bad even these days.

and one last thing.you will NEVER feel safe during this game..the main enemy(by the way the coolest enemy of all survival horror games in my thoughts) will pursue you throughout the whole game(as well a unique aspect of RE3).

THE GOOD:
Same thing as the other games,
Good Story-line,
Great Graphics,
Good Sound/Music,
Alot of monsters,
and Gameplay.

THE BAD:
Nothing....

SUMMARY:
This Game rocks!!! Resident Evil 3: Nemesis is the best story-line of the series ever (for my opinion). Also Resident Evil 1 for the GC and the PSX is not confusing, only Re2, and Gaiden. Buy this game it really, really ,really rocks!!!

This Game is better than Resident Evil 2, Gaiden, and Survivor. It's cost like maybe $15 or low.

This Game has the best graphics, music, sounds, gameplay, story-line, 3D graphics, puzzles (not really), good characters, and before RE2. It's a great game to play, but if you people never played Resident evil, play the first one ,then the second, and play this third.

THE GOOD:
Weapons - From shotguns to Pistols to Rocket Launchers every damn weapon is available in this game. Even magnum can be found here, the one shot killing revolver is good enough to give every zombie a hard time.

Game Play - Excellent game play which include 180 degree turns to fight enemies off.

Graphics - For a playstation game Resident Evil 3 has like the best graphics I have ever seen. Infact I never imagined a PS One game to have such good graphics it was almost unbleivable.

THE BAD:
Puzzles - Some puzzles good be really tricky in this game, REALLY tricky we really have to use a lot of brain power to solve them and finish them game. If you really get stuck on the puzzles there are a lot of Walkthroughs for this game on neoseeker, so be sure to check them out.

SUMMARY:
Over all I really enjoyed this game it was one of the best I have ever played on Playstation One. So i recomend it to any PS One player who is looking for good games but cant find any. The nemesis (bad guy) should give you a hard time but usefull tactics would make you tear through him and finsih the game. Incase I forget there are some cut scenes which really get your heart beating mad. For example your walking and all of a sudden this zombie like creature gets out from beneath the surface. SO dont be scared get your hopes up and buy this game!
And after you finish the game there is a mini game called the mercenaries It a small game but can be a little fun at times.
After you finish this game kicking zombie ass would be your favourite hobby

THE GOOD:
Excellent graphics, excellent story line, excellent weapons...EVERYTHING EXCELLENT!

THE BAD:
Can't think of any...

SUMMARY:
Everything is so damn cool. The game play is nice. You control the S.T.A.R.S. Police Officer, Jill Valentine, RE Queen, to escape the T-ed Raccoon City. This is the only game so far with the life selection and with the mixing of gun powders. Cool weapons are all over the place. You have to help Jill escape, as I had just mentioned. You'll then meet a new character, Carlos Oliveria and meet your nightmare, the Nemesis. The Nemesis is programmed to hunt down every S.T.A.R.S. member in Raccoon City. Anyway, finally, you will kill the Nemesis, eventually at the ending. This game has lots of secrets. If you play on hard mode and get an A grade, you'll be able to unlock 5 new costumes. A leather costume, white suit, Jill RE1 Costume, Regina from Dino Crisis costume and a police officer costume. In hard mode, you can also unlock a short profile of each character in the RE series. On either mode, you can unlock a mini-game in which you kill zonmbies and enemies in the actual game to get money in which you can use them to buy either the M4A1, Gatling Gun, Rocket Launcher and Unlimited ammo for all weapons in RE3! All the mentioned weapons contains unlimited ammo. So why wait? Get the game and start unlocking the secrets!

THE GOOD:
anything resident evil is good. the nemesis is scary as hell the first time through so thats a plus+.

THE BAD:
bad acting, but not as bad as the 1st and 2nd.

SUMMARY:
i know everyones already said this, but this is the best Resident Evil out there! the puzzles aren't too hard, but fighting the nemesis is kinda hard on some parts. r.e. was classic, r.e. 2 had the most action, but nemesis has the best of both worlds.

THE GOOD:
The graphics are the finest I have ever seen on the PSX besides the game Fear Effect. The pre-rendered backrounds can be frustrating at times but usually not that bad. The animations on the zombies are quite realistic if you can imagine what a zombie would walk and die like . Jill's animation is quite realistic and the body is well done. The Cg sequences are second only to FFVIII. They are really impressive and nicely done. The speech in the game is still kinda chessy but with a game this good its easily overlooked.

THE BAD:
The length of the game is a problem. The first play through will usually take you about 7 hours, if you explore. This isn't bad, but considering the length of #2, it leaves you feeling slightly disappointed. There are some innovations in the gameplay, however. This includes the dodge button and the quick 180 degree turn. These moves will make you wonder how you ever survived the first 2 games without them. These moves allow you to dodge if you tap the dodge button or the R1 button as someone or something lunges at you. The quick 180 degree turn allows you to turn around quickly and put some distance between you and the baddy or baddies. This is a life saver considering I remember having a zombie chewing on my neck about half way through RE1. There is also plenty of ammo in this game-- plus you can even make your own. This is quite helpful considering 120 rounds of magnum bullets could esaily get you through the game . When the game is over there is a goo dmini game that involves getting to one point to another before the time expires while facing plenty of baddies. You have a choice of three people to use, all ranging in arms and medication

SUMMARY:
Well most people have a pretty good idea of what Capcoms flagship title is about. Resident Evil, the scarefest it claims to be? Well yes and no. Certainly in the most recent addition to the Playstations survival horror genre is a good one, but this title lacks some great qualities that its predecessors did not. For example in this edition you cannot chose your character. You immediatly start out with Jill. Remember her? She was the scared wimp in # 1. Well shes all grown up now, and attempting to escape the wrecked and ravaged Racoon City. You do get to use two characters, however. About half way through the game you get to go through a brief period as the hot headed Carlos (a mysterious army guy sent from umbrella). And when I say brief I really mean it. His task is small but satisfying.

I would call this a must own game. If you're into this game, and even if your not and have 40 bucks to blow, I'd recommend this game. The game offers enough in replay for you to want to play it over and over again. But if you can find it, RE2 offers a good in play value. RE3 is just great it reallt is.

THE GOOD:
The whole game is good
(making Gun Ammo)

THE BAD:
Getting killded by Nemesis

SUMMARY:
This game kicks ass! It is really cool and for the people out there who don't know who Nemesis is... well, here is the big secret... Nemesis is Kenneth Baker! You know, the guy laying on the floor in Resident Evil(the mansion)? Well apparently Umbrella created him so he would kill the STARS members (Duh!) and cover up the incident. What better person (or thing I should say) to use than a former STARS member. Everything about the game is awesome whether you're blowing up zombies and monsters with the barrels (my personal favorite) or if you are constantly fighting with Nemesis(you want STARS? We'll give you STARS!) That part was so awesome. This is by Far the best Resident Evil game and I can't wait to see how it will look on GameCube. Look how awesome the first Resident Evil game came out already, the Graphics rock and Psycho zombies chase you if you don't blow off their heads. If you want to be scared shitless, I suggest you get Resident Evil for the Game Cube. fairwell RE Fans!
