THE GOOD: This game was really good for what year it was made in.
THE BAD: There was really nothing bad about this game.
SUMMARY: This game is really cool I like that fact that creatures like bats, rats, snakes, birds and many other animals are against you and you have to kill them to move on.There is only one real problem the controls where to hard to fiqure out.The main thing your trying to do is kill the monster Eve from creating a sibling.
Parasite Eve spans six days, over the course of which the human race's continued existence shall be called into question. A fateful night at the opera house triggers in one woman the power to cause all those around her to incinerate as the mitochondria in their bloodstream generate staggering quantities of energy, and in another woman an innate resistance to the deadly effects. You assume the role of that woman, the young New York cop Aya Brea, as she comes to realize that the fate of humanity will depend upon her actions. As Square Soft's biggest release since Final Fantasy VII, Parasite Eve offers high production values and an intriguing storyline in what Square Soft has dubbed "the cinematic RPG." Its gameplay blends action and horror with traditional RPG elements to create a game that is all too easily described as the marriage of Final Fantasy VII and Resident Evil. But even as Parasite Eve takes up many of the best aspects of both these games, so does it bring along many of th...
THE GOOD: Good story, great battle system, and good gameplay.
THE BAD: It was too straight forward without enough exploring. Plus Resident Evil was better. And can Aya run any faster?
SUMMARY: Once I bought this game and played it I was very impressed by the beginning. It set the mood for me to enjoy this game all the way through. It's story was very innovative IMO. The boss is also great for this game. I recommend this game to any gamer.
THE GOOD: Great story line, great ways to advance your character, challenging bonus EX mode, great FMV sequences.
THE BAD: Aya runs too slow, the graphics aren't that great, and the battle system gets a bit confusing.
SUMMARY: Overall, I was impressed with this game. The story line was very good, and it made me want to keep playing the game. The real problem I had was with the battle system. It may take a while to get used to. I also wasn't that impressed with the graphics. They could have been made a bit better. I believe that any RPG lover should at least give this one a try. It is very much worth the time, especially when trying to beat the 77 level bonus area in the EX mode for a different ending.
SUMMARY: Well, Parasite Eve was supposed to be alot better than it was. The worst thing about it was that it was like following an express highway, just straightforward and not too much decsion making involved.
The graphics were good but not the best seen in a video game to date. But the Computer Generated Graphics in the movies were superb and breath taking.
One other thing was that they said sperm about 100 times in a 10 minute span.
Bottom Line: Best suited for a rental and game shark.
THE GOOD: Music. But you aren't here for that. Are you? If so, you're stupid. No "buts" about it. You're stupid. The story (which you shouldn't be worried about) started off quite interesting...until five hours into the game.
THE BAD: Gameplay and controls.
SUMMARY: What is it with Square and combining every genre with RPGs? Listen up, folks. Parasite Eve is a survival horror/RPG created by Squaresoft. Teh suck-o? Yes. The game has a bunch of problems that I've noticed. (I'm certain there's more since this game was made by Square.) 1.) I was fighting this really gay-looking dog boss and I got stuck inside the dog. I couldn't escape. I lost all my hit points because of that. GLITCH. BOOM! Problem numbuh.... 2.) A survival horror, fused with an RPG. Just no. Okay? Just no. A game cannot be spooky if it's an RPG. In a survival horror game, you're supposed to have the feeling of being helpless. Examples: Silent Hill3 and Resident Evil1 Remake for Gamecube. In Parasite Eve, you can simply level...
