Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee is a very clever game that sends you off on a journey to save your fellow alien looking slaves from lifelong misery. You are Abe, a funny looking green guy who has to solve puzzles, outrun multiple different guards and simultaneously speak to your people so that they follow you to freedom.
The controls in Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee are relatively simple to get used to and include to usual actions such as run, jump, crouch etc. The real breakthrough here is the ability to use several character voice commands such as Hello, Wait, Follow Me etc which you will need to use as you try to help your fellow mudokons out of harms way and to freedom. The gameplay consists of you navigating Abe through multiple levels filled with traps, enemies, objectives and puzzles that need to be solved in order for you to be able to advance. Throughout each level you will find numerous mudokons that you need to rescue in order to complete the game.
THE GOOD: This game has wicked graphics, The backgrounds are great, the concept is fun. Its nearly good enough to kill for!
THE BAD: Nearly! The game is very Hard! I found that the second Oddworld game was easier than the first.
SUMMARY: Well, it goes a bit like this. You're this ugly fella called Abe. Youre job is to save youre fellow friends (Mudukuns) The bad guys (Glukkons, Sligs) are going to make you into FOOD!
