Background

The new gameplay feature for NHL 2000 is the new big-hit and big-deke buttons. Game modes include exhibition, season, and tournament. You can even take a team through a ten-year career mode and draft, trade, and pick up free agents. Play-by-play calls are made by NHL broadcaster Jim Hughson.
