NBA Shoot-out 2004, for the most part, has been done in a very presentable manner; fans of the sport will play the game for hours on end working on their favorite team and trying to perfect their skills. The completely updated rosters and insane amounts of statistics that are keep are sure to grab the attention and interest of any person that would call themselves a basketball fanatic. In this, NBA Shoot-out excels.
At this point in the Shoot-out series most bugs and glitches with the gameplay should have been worked out, especially on the Playstation One platform. This unfortunately is not the way that it is. Now, I am not going to say that the gameplay is in any way horrible, or bad or anything along those lines. What I am getting at is that the game is not as playable for the average gamer that is not a huge fan of basketball as many of the other options that are out there.
It should go without saying that the graphics are not nearly as good as those on a newer system, but...
